These are old plans which were around during Vista development. They've been scrapped since then as what we have as WDDM 2.0 isn't related to what was planned back then in any way. I do wonder if 2.1 is related to Pascal pre-emption changes however. Or it may just be some support for SM 6.0 and other extensions of DX released with 1607 (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/mt748631(v=vs.85).aspx).

WU won't downgrade you from a newer version. I'm not even sure that it will install a new version if you're on the old one. WU only install a driver for some h/w part when no driver is present for it in the system - like after a fresh Windows install.

One more time: AFAIK there is no such "problem", and even if there would be - it's not something which should be fixed by WDDM. You've been asked for the source and please do provide one since Google only shows your posts on the matter on various forums, constantly connecting them to Fermi as you seem to think that this was the reason why NV decided against supporting DX12 on that architecture. As you hopefully understand your posts on other forums aren't a confirmation of your post in this thread. And I find it VERY unlikely that MS will do anything to support DX12 on Fermi at this point.

It happend on my GTX 680 and now also my new GTX 1070.

    Crashes like once a week.

Translation: you have nothing specifically related to your claims. I looked prior to asking for YOU to provide a source.

This driver doesn't seem to work for Optimus systems...With this driver Skyrim is using my integrated GPU instead of my 880m, even though I have it configured in the Nvidia CP to only use the discreet GPU.

that error will also happen IF the chip on the GPU is dead, which would also make it so drivers would not install, could also be specific driver issue among many other things

Hello, this driver (maybe) has issues with directx12 SLI with Rise of the Tomb Raider in Windows 10 Anniversary.

    Could anyone revise it?, please.

Solved: Hyper-V is the problem, uninstalled and all is perfect.

    Thanks.

Ok, that makes sense, WU didn't down grade it was the upgrade from win7 to win10 (1511) that did that (360.xx>358.91).
That is nothing and easy fixed, I was just wondering on the WU part.

It is icafe driver. Notice icafe folder is in it. So care that I know. iCafe driver doesn't come with PhysX in it. Might have to pull it from the other drivers and it will work.

I copy the 390.00 PhysX folder in to the 390.09 folder. Use the 390.09 setup.exe it will find PhysX:

What ever your last Nvidia drivers you installed that has physx. If you didn't use DDU. There is an Nvidia folder.
    C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\369.00\Win10_64\International\
In there just copy the physx folder to the 390.09 folder.

I ran LatencyMon while running Time Spy full test(390.09):

I have disabled automatic driver update. Ok set to only if there is a missing driver - it wont auto update.

That said why is nvidia holding back with this particular driver???

Or, just download the latest PhysX installer from Nvidia

Hint: it's your job to back your claims. Given your repeated refusal, the obvious conclusion is you can't. Run along.

These drivers run smooth for me better than the 368.95.

These drivers made a HUGE difference for me in Dota 2 (DX11, runs better than Vulkan or OGL, though I'll test again with these drivers).

Went from 110-170fps with 50-70% utilization (1440p, max settings), to 170-230fps, 60-90% utilization.

i had better experience & lower input lag on vulkan if compared with dx11 or opengl maybe due to my processor is not high end like yours.
