Lots of games these days only go Silver and then spend months and sometimes years of patching to reach Gold. Spoiler
If that was the case most games would go "Brown". Why can't the game release digitally the moment it goes gold? Upload dat sh*t!
Yeah procedural means a lot of randomly generated content, not carefully designed by a person. Still not convinced this will be interesting, reviews first for sure (also server issues)
I was sold on the whole thing back in 2013... for me I'm up in that hyper train shouting choo choo xD *edit*
It'll be a day one purchase for me, I just hope it doesn't disappoint. Which I think it will, unfortunately.
Then why the 'day one' purchase? Just wait a day or two for reviews and user feedback. This is how developers make money on duds. Player impatience!
New trailer... it's for PS4 but it applies for PC too hehe.. The insides of the cockpits look a bit better in this, don't remember them looking this nice in earlier videos.
I've been reading this: http://www.vg247.com/2014/12/11/you-wont-be-playing-no-mans-sky-with-your-friends/ Someone clear this up for me, so you CAN actually come across other players?
Yes, but its extremely difficult. You can also see things named by other players, like planets or animals.
I really like to know how they are making this interesting. Exploring random planets without clear goal is interesting only to certain degree. "Probing Uranus" - EDI
No Man's Sky has sadly missed the ideal launch frame time wise for me personally... I would have loved to spend June, July, August and maybe September with it and Overwatch... now it's going to launch in August, when it has to maybe compete with BF1's beta for my spare time... and in October my time will be spent on BF1 for sure, and now I'm still sticking to TW:WH for single player time spent. Andybody else experiencing something like that?
