Hey there, i have tried so many Driver, no one worked (modded Drivers too). The Driver of the Hewllet Packerd (HP) site is to old (from 2010) and i Need a new one. My Laptop is the HP Pavilion dv6 with the ati mobility Radeon 5650HD, but there is a second one too, its the AMD M880G with amd moblitiy Radeon 4225 (maybe it's for Battery use, id ont realy know). Every Driver i have installed, failed.. (I'm on Windows 7 64Bit) You Guys are my last Hope. Thank you
For my 5870M the last best driver was 15.11.1 beta. Any of the Crimson drivers cause my fan to not operate properly.
Yeah same 15.11.1 Beta is the last driver that worked for my old notebook, the crimson drivers dont work, http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx
You have a complex case because you are running 2 legacy cards. For the iGPU you need the old legacy driver. I will call these legacy legacy drivers: If you need legacy legacy drivers: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=407138 http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=401565 http://www.hardwareluxx.de/communit...-koennte-es-liegen-994336-2.html#post21595519 and for your 5650m you need 15.11 or 16.2.1 legacy. You can try the UnifL variation which comes with a few enhancements such as profiles unlock. Or better yet i would try to disable the iGPU in the BIOS and just use the dGPU (5650m) with the latest available drivers 16.2.1 legacy. If you do not have the option of switching off the iGPU in your BIOS then you need to look for a BIOS mod that unlocks Advanced Settings. They can be easily found on MDL or BIOS-mods. Just search Google for your BIOS zip name /file name or the SPxxxxx number on MDL / BIOS-mods
