W-what? But that's impossible  You must have a golden sample...no excuse me, platinum sample.

I posted something similar a while ago but it seems like BS to me. Why hasn't anyone else achieved the same thing? I've seen an ASUS 1080 Strix run at 2125MHz but that's pretty much it.

Balls and balls!! That's so annoying. The eBay auction on my cards finishes Sunday so will potentially have no PC for a week or so :bang:

Nevermind, I still have Unchartered 4 to do on the PS4... guess I'll blow the dust of it! Thanks for the update fellas

Once again more power and power phases doesn't matter. In the end it's all about the lottery.

They have now reached 2.8GHz, with a memory clock of 6200Mhz.

What I meant was the 2.2GHz on air that you posted about. I don't really care about LN2 and stuff like that since I'll never do such things myself.

Most won't :D and that is always an oc that does not last anyway. We will see if there will be consumer cards that reach 2.2ghz on air or water later on. But as of now there haven't been any that I know of.

    Awesome :nerd:

Witcher 3 is the main reason for my 1080 , it was the first game to abolutely crush :wanker: my 780 , i haven't played it yet because of that , it was blazing away in every game until that game came along.

That was on 1200p aswell , i'm now on 1440p so new card was needed. Really looking forward to playing it :infinity:

The shortage of partner cards in Sweden is alarming. I was hoping to get something tomorrow but after a nice conversation with a customer representative I think it will take 3-4 weeks before I have a card in my possession.

I'd definitely hear. Anything above 2000 RPM for triple fan cards (that have similar sized fans than, say, my current card) gets noisy rather quickly.

In my case 95% equals ~3000 rpm and it sounds like a jet engine. These fans are rather slim and small so if your card has even slightly larger fans it would sound even worse. I use headphones too, although open back so basically no isolation what so ever. However, my case does have some isolation.

2300RPM :3eyes: I've never ever saw past 1500 (usually 1200-1300 )on my MSI Gaming 780 and thats with barely any case fans , just a static 1000RPM on my CPU and 600RPM Rear fan
