Simplicity of a huge thread is you can easily search for something before asking the same question over and over and annoying regular posters in the thread, if each game has four or five threads how do you search for something? Open every single thread and search every single thread? Nobody would do that!
just got a little more to do before every single thing possible is done. level 35 and about 500hrs ive played. then i'll start dlc. hos first then baw.
It's to lessen the strain on the servers from search requests. Used to be a problem back when threads went on for thousands of pages and tens of thousands of posts
Is that why cookies don't function as normal on other sites as well? Ie a thread should always stay unread unless I actually read it.
The BIG question...when I'm finished with this game...what game can match this...looong time since I have been so into a game like I have with this. I just can't let it go, searching every nook and cranny of the gameworld...don't wanna miss anything.
Man, I envy you. For HoS, I suggest taking care of all the surrounding, location-based mini quests as well as the new crafter quests first before doing the main storyline. I'm about to start B&W myself, but having just done HoS in NG+, it remains about the best thing I've ever played.
Deus EX, vampire the masqueraide. fallout 1 and 2, why not follow up one of the best rpgs of all time with some of the other best rpgs of all time? . Just got to olgierds mansion, should finish HoS tonite.
Why not Deus EX... never finished that one (don't remember why) I must finish DOOM also...not the same type but damn fun...got me thinking of the old days of PC gaming: Blood (LAN was real fun with the flaregun), Unreal, DOOM, etc Played computergames since I was 12 (Spectrum 48k)
Deus Ex is still amazing to this day. 2077, new vision mod and there some other good mods that update the character models etc. http://www.moddb.com/mods/2027 And this one i never tried but looks promising. http://www.moddb.com/news/gmdx-v80-release
Loving this expansion so far but I just got to the Fairytale area where you have to fight the witch and noticed the FPS tanks big time, in most areas i'm getting 58 - 60 fps with gsync enabled but in the fairytale area it drops below 30 fps, i'm thinking there's something bugged for the framerate to drop so badly.
I am milking the living heck out of this game knowing that once I finished it, I will wait a while before a game comes even close to getting me engaged like this one does. I also won't be replaying it... this time around (so far), I have finished all question marks, witcher contracts, treasure hunts and secondary quests of the main game. I will probably shed a tear when I finish blood and wine.
