    Fugly.

Hope they perform better than their looks.

Edit: I do like the rounded rectangular nameplate tho.

I'm not a big fan of this new design overall (kind of industrial(?) looking) but from the side, I have to admit it looks pretty great. I like that it comes with a backplate.

    I'm absolutely loving the nameplate.

Getting a 1080 and this could be a candidate.

I see 2 in the 3rd pic on the bottom, next to the box pic.

Looks like the SC has one 8pin, FTW has two 8pins.

@Hilbert any chance on reviewing EVGA products this time around or are they still salty over the PX v AB article?

Interesting fan setup, inverted blades? Surely that's going to impact cooling unless it pulling air in through the card and out?

Its been like that since ACX 2.0. it is to reduce turbulence as far as I remember.

Difference in power phases of Evga cards:

So other than FTW and classic, all have same as reference 5+1 power phases.

Oh, wow. I was expecting the same old ACX design. I wonder if all the AXC 3.0 cards (1070/60 ect) will look like this. Or if it's just a 'larger' 1080 version.

I'm not against it or anything, but I did prefer the solid smooth look of 2.0/1.0. That said, if it works as well as the other designs I don't really care.
I do really like how it looks from the side though, that's pretty slick.

Interested in this card, however does anyone know if its likely that a full cover waterblock will be made for it? As the PCB won't be a reference design will it!?

SC and below in that comparison chart up there will be completly reference PCB. That said, the cooler does wonders if that video is any indication. A 2GHZ+ overclock while staying well below the thermal throttle threshold, using only the default fan speeds.
