Great video and new afterburner is very good also.Great 3d party tool for all GPU's and it's freeeeee.

Now after watching that video some people tomorrow when reality hits are going to be disappointed.
Going be be some complaining about why doesn't my New 1080 clock to over 2GHZ,my card keeps crashing,my card has a burning smell,I am never buying Nvidia again I am switching to AMD blah blah blah.

Well I hope I do not get a **** card tomorrow the last few from AMD and Nvidia have been poor overclockers and needed a new BIOS to get a little better.Should not be that way on 700USD cards.

Nobody owes you overclocking headroom. If stock clocks were 1900mhz you'd be complaining about not enough OC headroom.

Anyone who complains about OC on pascal and says they're switching to AMD is a great comedian

Cool! "If we go higher we'll probably crash it, but f**k it, lets do it anyway". Love it, lol.

Removed the video sorry, need to do a correction. I'll have it online tomorrow when we launch AB.

Damn I missed it, wanted to see how the voltage curve works on AB compared to PXOC.

I hope there's still a "this might crash but **** it.... oh! it crashed" moment in the new one. That was golden.

Haha, no sorry. I prevented it from crashing by lowering the tweak a tiny bit. The problem is that the GTX 1080 is also recording the video, so when it crashes .. the video recording goes belly up as well.

Yeah I figured, there were artifacts in the video you didn't seem to be reacting to :p

Looking forward to AIB reviews HH :)

Man, that was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

In October I helped a clueless friend of mine build his PC. On Skype.

It was going relatively well, he had mounted his (semi-modular) PSU in the case, was walking him through all the power connections, when he asked me the following question

"Should I plug in the cable ?"

Me: What do you mean the cable ? Just route the wide 24-pin cable round the back and then back in near the right side of the motherboard.

"So I should plug it in ?"

At this point I was confused, so I asked him to show me the PSU. So he moved his laptop to the floor, and I found myself looking at the back of his case, at his PSU, with the 24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU + 2 PCI-E connectors sticking out of the back of the case

    xD

So it's the 27th here in the UK and the GTX 1080s are still showing as "coming soon" on Scan and EBuyer's websites?

Are they not going on sale today then? What's the point in releasing hardware for sale on a certain day if you cannot actually get hold of it on that day? I would have thought you'd have been able to pre-order for delivery today as is normally the case with other stuff. It's not like the GTX 1080 is a big secret as it was revealed over two weeks ago in a so-called "paper" launch!!! :3eyes:
