I don`t know whether I will be capable to play it. I played FF 13/13-2 but mostly in auto battle mode.
I love characters and soundtrack.

 

Got it also, good port. Solid 30fps with everything full (8x msaa smaa hdao)

Got a toggle for game speed, auto battle, encounter rate. And proper cheats if you want them

Unfortunately no al bhed primer cheat though, waiting on someone uploading a save for that

 

Its turn based combat, pretty straight forward. Some of the story mode bosses were hard but end game you can make your party a bit overpowered imo.

Auto battle sucked in FF13 (it was meant to)

 

Well, I tried manual mode but I spent most of battle time looking at the controls of abilities and not to the actions themselves. Overall I got a pleasure in FF13 not from battles but from characters, story, music, cutscenes - kinda interactive movie.

Edit: FF13 was my first ever turn based combat game. I don`t appreciate such gameplay.

Edit: And when FF7 remake will show in Steam I will try it to feast eyes on Tiffa. -)

 

No 21:9 and my xbone controller doesnt work, prob because I have g25, saitek x52 pro, razor hydras and oculus rift connected, still no excuse in a 2016 release when I have 0 issues with other games.

Oh well moved it to my steam junk games list

 

FFX is amazing. i had 260 hours on my ps2 save, and still had monster arena battles to do, and one or two ultima weapons to farm. NM blitzball.

never played 2 for the price i will be grabbing this.

 

I have this classic game on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita but at just £12 from GreenManGaming with their 25% discount of the already discounted Steam price of £15.99 it was hard to say no. I am happy that they have added some PC specific tweaks such auto-saves and the ability to enable Auto Battle if you just want to sit back and take it the story for a while. The game looks and runs as well as expected, although the 30 fps cap is a bit disappointing. I believe you can even turn off random encounters, though that sounds like it would be detrimental to the game, leaving you underpowered when facing some enemies and most bosses.

 

You mean its capped at 30fps?

Yea its not a game that needs 60, turn based combat and all, would be nice but it is not a deal breaker.

 

Yep, just like every version of the game since the ps2 original.

Hell even at 30fps some of the animations jitter, can't imagine how bad that might look at 60. But people are having a go at Modding it to 60. Someone has already got the japanese audio in for English subtitles and custom aspect ratios

For those interested I can confirm that both my wired 360 pad and my third party wired PS3 pad work without the need for configuration or third party apps. The port is pretty good, it's a shame about the cap but it's not the sort of game you're really going to notice it with, given that fps is more or less locked to 30 for anyone with a semi-modern system.

 

Will stick to the international version on PCSX2. Steam version textures look a bit better but whatever they've done to the faces ruin it (for me at least).
