Anyone not heard of the saying "There is no such thing as bad advertisment"? The trailer is sh*t and shows almost nothing useful and yet is the most discussed thing on the net right now. Even non-gaming media is picking up on it. Activision knows how to make money.

Because no matter how many negative views it gets on youtube, the thing will still sell insanely well.

i like the new trailer of the call of duty game for the first time in years, this looks big in scale and a nice change from the others, it reminds me of the movie Aliens when the guy was prepping and going into his space fighter.

 

My god this looks epic!

 

No question which CoD is going to get the most eyeballs this year.

 

Am I the only one that thinks it's a bit funny...

CoD4 gets a remaster announced, everyone is all excited and happy.
BioShock gets a remaster announced (released the same year as CoD4)... people complain.

Because going from what weve seen of this COD, actual effort has gone into remastering it, compared to whats been shown of the Bioshock remaster..


What i want to know, is after all the bitching and moaning of COD being nothing but copy and paste release after release, that gamers are happy to pay for the same game they've already got and of which will probably work better as this will have matchmaking rather than the dedicated servers of the original release.

So no mods,
No custom servers
Pain in the butt to setup a game with friends

I have to say...it actually looks really really good. Though i think ill stick OG version for MP.

I still remember loading this game up for the first time on 360, it felt so real.

 

130GB ... that's a lot of uncompressed audio

 

The remaster does look nice in a lot of ways.
But, it also is a bit disappointing to see they've muted a lot of the color palette in favor of a darker overall look.

Also, I had forgotten how bland the color palette in CoD4 was. And people complained that id Software games were too brown.
