I can handle the game with assist off but temperature stuff is happening here as well. It says 63 degrees max even though I play pretty much all AAA games at 78 degrees max. It Works solid 60fps at max settings though. So it is either süper optimised or something weird is going on. Looks great as well.
I enjoyed what I played as well, didn't expect to as well. Performance and visuals are slightly underwhelming, but it's not bad. The dynamic setting is a very good idea, it also simplifies things for those not into tweaking, while the advanced settings let you customise quite alot. It's also the first game that lets me appreciate the X1 controller, the triggers are very good.
Game is working amazing. They really make use of DX12, thats for sure as the game on ULTRA is very smooth. The thing that I'm really pissed. Is its 3rd game that I play on Windows Store that does not support my resolution 2560x1080 or aspect ratio, so I'm stuck at 1080p. The games are Killer Instinct, Quantum Break, and now Forza. Is there any solution to use my resolution on thoes games. Especially Forza as the KI,QB I already finished.
Argh! All the positive comments are making the last 3 GB download agonizing. Can someone post a screenshot of all the options please as well as what the game looks like on maxed out graphic settings while I wait? Ta!
Can I access the settings before the first race? The game crashes on me when loading the race so I thought maybe I could tweak those.
There seems to be a problem for me tho. Every second there's a stutter. Literally every second i recorded it and checked with premiere every damn second there's a weird stutter and i bet I'm not the only one. I tried changing to 720p lowest settings and it was still there. Basically the way i test it is i go to Free race alone and just make the car go at 5 mph in a circle. Then follow distant objects with my eyes. That way the stutter is way too obvious to miss.. Can anyone with nvidia confirm?
theres the options, cant do much else at the moment http://imgur.com/a/02lER you can chose dynamic which sets them all or change them manually. make sure you change dynamic render quality after the first race as its set to medium I get some micro stutter on some levels and then some larger stutter on others, especially if there are lots of cars about. edit: folk, share you gamertag so we can compare times. Im really enjoying this...
I grabbed the xbox 360 controller without thinking and soon realised how much i had become accustomed to the XB1 joypads trigger feedback and pulse braking in the Forza games. ha But game works like charm, Forza on the PC, it is here. Gamertag : The Omega M4n
I'm downloading the thing. Still 13gb to go. Does anyone know if it works with the XBOX 360 pad? I don't have a XBONE pad.
Finally downloaded! Fired it up, looks great - go to start first race and I don't move. My official 360 pad isn't working EDIT: Turns out I just needed to update my xbox pad driver. Sorted! :stewpid:
Didn't realise turning dynamic off gave me all the graphics settings lol Maxed it out, still buttery smooth, actually a great looking game, especially in the rain
It runs great maxed out and judging by GPU usage my GTX 970 has no problems churning out those frames. I did have some weird hitching from time to time though... VRAM usage was ~3,5GB. Xbox One pad work great in this thanks to trigger rumble/feedback.
Is the 5th race (Ferrari vs lamborghini) is bugged for you as well? I am getting Abarths as opponents and as expected can annihilate them
