Can confirm SLI seems to be working now on Gears of War: Ultimate Edition

Strange because the game doesn't have 'Exclusive Fullscreen' but MSI Afterburner shows both GPU's at approx 75% usage (graph not OSD) and the in game benchmark is getting locked 90fps pretty much at 1440p with Highest settings (4k textures)

Like some small side effect: destroying gfx card?

 

A driver cannot destroy a gpu.

 

I was just thinking about new driver yesterday and now this shows up. Cool!

Seeing worse performance in Dark Souls III, on "the bridge" I'm seeing a low of 50 running back and forth, before it was 52, was hoping to hit 60 stable everywhere but apparently not yet, there's only two areas in the game that drop me under the holy grail though.

 

Ask about it for example users of geforce 680 who used it with drivers 320.xx and 322.xx, if i recall correctly.

 

Worse per. than 362/00. Witcher 3 suffered the most. Reverting back.

 

dont even start this again, last 4 drivers where derail by people that can't accept hw fails..

IF drivers were to blame nvidia would pull them.

 

With the last few drivers, my msi afterburner settings would randomly go 0 core 0 mem, requiring the restart. This is not a healthy behavior .

 

I use msi afterburner all the time I have it set to start up with windows together with the statistic server and just use a binded key to hide/show the overlay.
I don't have that issue with cores and mem going to 0.
I did had that issue where power reading would get stuck after waking up from sleep.

 

I used those drivers with my GTX680 and my GTX680 is still as good as the day I bought it over four years ago.

 

These seem slightly smoother for me in GTA 5 but not tested other games just yet.

I am also getting better Min fps with a few different benches tried so far.

All of them seem to be getting 2-3 fps increase in min frames and roughly same max frames with maybe 1-2 fps increase.

I was having some slow down on GTA V while switching to FirstPerson view with larger FOV and while zooming or using Iron sites. Seems to have cleared up with these drivers.

 

Let's not make "drivers destroy vídeo cards" some kind of myth.

Drivers HAVE destroyed vídeo cards. The 8000 card series were particularly affected by bad drivers and it was a PR disaster at the time for Nvidia. Not all bad drivers (there were multiple) were pulled.

I've also experienced odd behaviour in the last drivers. I reported it to Unwinder, but he just told me to go f*** myself. Great guy.

These drivers so far don't seem to cause issues, but we'll see.

 

It's only possible for a gfx driver to kill a gfx card if that card doesn't have some sort of kill switch or cut off built in.

I think you'll find that it's no longer possible for drivers to ever cause this now since modern cards have built in safety measures that older cards may not have had.

So unless you are running an old card then it's not/never going to happen. OK

 

Drivers do not fix broken users, userfailures or noobs

And don't start with that destroying graphics cards, I'm paranoid already updating drivers... finally upgrading from 362.00!
