Very interesting would seem NV saving fastest memory technology for the Ti variant of pascal.

How so? If the 1080 Ti, or whatever, is this pictured chip, it's not using HBM2.

This could very well launch late 2016 with gddr5x whatever this is, the 1080ti. Since the mass production of gddr5x is still not active if I remember correctly.

They did send samples already tho so the picture makes perfect sense.

Available in 8Gbit density only = 1GB per chip => reason why 8 chips only = 256bit interface
Apparently available as 13Gbps top, with 8 chips that's 416GB/s.
What was Bandwidth on GTX 980 Ti? 337GB/s. That's 23.4% higher memory bandwidth and that's +- performance gain I would expect from this GPU (bit more if nVidia again improved compression).

Looking forward to actual reviews, but all these leaks will (as always) fulfill their purpose of hyping things up. :)

Little too early for my taste.
Sure, we don't know exact details, but overall they've pretty much spilled the beans.

This could turn into a boring launch, unless there is some secret sauce, or unexpected surprise.

It's PS fake. Chip corners are rounded but green print/sticker perfectly rectangular and non shaded.

1500Mhz Core 980-Ti are already +35% or even +40% better than retail version (1075Mhz boost core).

They better bring some fat cookies to the table if they expect people to upgrade.
And how overclockable are those new ships gonna be compared to 9XX serie?

    Most 980ti are already factory oc'd, 1300mhz+. I've never seen a 1075mhz 980ti boost clocks.

All of these chips will fit in laptops. The GP104-400 will be the single card 200W limit for VR notebooks, with 180W variants.

Rule of thumb is to subtract 50 watts to know if it will be viable for MXM 3.0b.

Full GTX 980 can be done and has been deveopled using 130eatts.

Energy sweetspots make it possible. I knew 100% in 2014 when I had 3 way 980s that I essentially bought 3 notebook GPUs.

It's not the Ti. Unless they neutered the Ti and make the next Titan X the only GP100.

    Entirely possible.

Unrelated, this kind of stuff is probably the ONLY useful crap that comes out of that clickbait site.

I like the way the photoshopper arranged some of the chips upside down so to make it look less fake.

Or maybe you don't know how it looks down there for real.
