Updated Java - still freezes. I suspect it's still a Java error on my hardware, got bluescreen withClock_Watchdog_Timeout.
great now I can I uninstall my steam version as I was using both direct install and steam for the new "beta" features. Incidentally from testing both the steam beta version and the direct install version I would get the same scores with in margin of error since last December.
Solved. Got a new System Info version from Futuremark support and after reinstall 3DMark is working again. Boy, they are fast to respond and resolve problems!
How do I find my Steam key to use it this new version instead? Release notes says it can be done, but I don't see the key in Steam. Its not listed in my Steam receipt either.
yea was a bit frustrated myself because of that. Got 3DMark Adv. from Steam sale a while back. The API test is a "Feature" test, not a "Benchmark". The "Feature" tests are not included in the Basic edition.
Upgrading from the beta version screwed me it seems. I can't submit a single score online, i've some random error detected after every benchmark run.
No crash here either, but I had to redownload all tests now via steam... Btw for comparison sake :nerd: Test1: 290 - 340fps Test2: 164 - 190fps Both tests cpu bound. Especially test 2..
