Haha I don't know why they do it, narukun seems salty, like he's convinced himself he is owed a a consistent framerate despite games becoming more demanding. He got 60fps two years ago, he wants 60fps now, ray tracing be damned.

 

NASA did fake the moon landings, they conspired with nvidia to fake the moon landings because they needed to sell more maxwell cards using the Vxgi Apollo 11 demo.

It's already happening, I went down to 293 fps minimum from 297 in previous drivers in CSGO, nvidia is gimping maxwell to give pascal owners a competitive edge.

 

Oh I bet we'll get three other threads rather than a rename. So even the people that believe in such things don't have the oversight to put all of their posts in a single thread

 

agree, imo, recent games indeed aren't that visually stunning while somewhat require alot more gpu power.

 

This is my main gripe. I have faint memories Crysis 1 being one of the more awesome games visually, and yet games like fallout 4 that are done on "updated" morrowind engine are suddenly more demanding? Yeah sure you can add some stuff to make the game lag more / hog more, but what's the point if the visuals just aren't that good? It's a never ending cycle to sell more hardware.

I can understand if a game like Star Citizen is a little demanding from the hardware.. but a morrowind 2.5/3.0 ?
