Mass Effect: Andromeda delayed until early 2017

Consecvencies of letting the lead writer Chris Schlerf to leave the Bioware and join Bungie. We'll probably see another delay next year.

 

Wow, I just knew they weren't really going to make 2016. Whenever a company states "holiday" they always seem to mean after the year end.

 

I saw this coming a mile away. When chris left, I knew something was going to happen. I posted a similar comment over on the bioware forum and a few people replied that I didn't know what I was talking about. I hate being right all the time. It's such a burden

 

Fine by me, I'll probably get my fill of RPG from even more witcher playtroughs troughout 2016 anyway. Still, I'm looking forward to this as well, though I would love if EA could used that SW license wisely and put out a story driven single player SW RPG...

 

i don't think it was unexpected.. i believe BioWare knows what
they are doing. the ME series are top notch games and i can't wait
for the next one

 

I would rather have them take there time to produce a great game then rush it and get an half assed game

 

Doesn't matter while it's worth it.

 

Still dissapointing but delays are nothing new these days, lets hope its worth the wait.

 

That's good, gives me more time for other games.

 

What if they only use that extra time to figure out how to cut the end of the game off and sell it as DLC?

 

Please don't give them ideas, that will be bad.

never liked mass effect game see it more of shooter then anything else.

The first was pretty good, the second was very good... the third I felt was kind of stupid, the character always holding the weapon up no matter what just annoyed me so much that I stopped playing it... have yet to finish it...

I know, silly reason, but it just pissed me off too much because it is not like that in 1 and 2.

 

I played 1 and 2, i dont like the whole SHooting gaming play, I have and never will see such game play as rpg. it a shooter with rpg "elements" and nice story,

I just played mass effect 3 recently with all dlc-s...new game will be simply amazing :eek3:

 

ME 2 was amazing. I never could really immerse myself in ME3 either. Keep starting playthroughs from time to time then abandon it for other games.

 

This is exactly what it's like for me!! I've tried getting into it quite a few times now and I just can't do it.

With Mass Effect 2 it was like, I did nothing but play it non stop until it was finished, it was like a feeling of "what happens next".. just wanting to get to the end.. wanting to know where the story goes.. but with 3... it's just not doing that.
