I'm not surprised. They make good monitors at good prices. I love mine.

I just got my Acer Predator X34 and I almost busted a nut when I found 0 dead pixels. It's a great screen, very happy.

Fair enough. Asus messed up with version 1 of the 279 gsync 144hz.

No complaints here on my 1080p 24" G-Sync monitor, cheapest around the UK at £240 when I bought it!

"First ones will go to the system integrators. Next batch to the standard retail channels".
    My Take on Asus
    Acer VS Asus
Acer Monitors takes first place in the USA
    http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/ace...n-the-usa.html
The KEY Words are "Quick Time to Market Release of Products"
    Winning Acer
Here is my experience of Asus they show up at {CES2015} or CES2016 with new innovative products, 6 months later products are unavailable in the market place or very limited supply
At this years CES2016 asus was still showcasing Products from CES2015

I have never had dead pixel on any of samsung or asus monitors not one, back light bleed sure but never dead pixel, cant say the same for the monitors my uncle buys cause he gets the 99$ 27~32 inch montitor from makers like aoc and like and they all have min of 2 dead pixels.

My Acer XR341CK bmijpphz freesync arrived with zero defective pixels and a stunning display. No surprise that they are number one here. A 3440 X 1440 res with a refresh rate of 75Hz sold me.

Not trying to boast (seriously I'm not) but since I got a job as the sole IT admin for a game design studio, I have been doing pretty well. That's how I could afford it :)

I'm not surprised Acer is number #1 in monitors sold in the US and Canada as they're pretty much sold by every retailer and are easy to find. I've loved every Acer monitor I've ever owned, including my current XB280HK.

Main reason they're no.1 is that they are the king of the budget range. Sure they make some good high end units too, but its the budget range that puts them in 1st spot in terms of sales.

Nice dude. :D Good for you (I'm jealous :D).

I'm eyeing for this beast as well, holy crap.. it looks so sick. Getting tired of the QNIX, want a bigger monitor. :D

I'll have to save up for this thing then.

You like the monitor though, yours does 100Hz? Was it worth the purchase? Holy crap 1300€ bro... isn't that too expensive though? $hit man.. :D At most I'd pay like 600€ lol.

I have never seen a dead pixel on any LCD screen from any maker. That includes monitors, laptop screens, tablets, phones, and TV's.
