Although video game commentary was a huge trend up to a couple years ago(and it still is somehow but not that huge imo), the only one I "follow" these days is Markiplier. That guy is seriously funny, his remarks are extraordinary witty and has a great voice. I used to enjoy his videos a lot more a while ago than nowadays, but I do still enjoy most of them. But then again I'm not a child/teen so I wouldn't know what appeals to teens/kids these days. I'm guessing something like Pewdiepie or someone like in the OP. But in general, yeah most the current/future generations mindset is going out through the window unfortunately.
Markiplier is like Pewdiepie 2.0, his rise to fame happened after Pewdiepie was at the top. They are basically the same, they play horror/indie games which have no replay value and replace commentary with screaming. You can see the kind of people who watch his videos in the comments, little teenage girls.
Well, average IQ is decreasing, statistically noted. Unfortunately, it's not only that people with a certain level of cognitive capabilities may decide to tone down on the net, the dumb ones are getting more and louder each day...

I'm not here to defend anyone since this is simple entertainment and it depends on one's tastes but if you cannot tell the difference from the 2 mentioned commentary wise, then its all the same for you I guess. I consider Markiplier's commentary/jokes much more mature and a hell lot more witty and funny than the aforementioned one or anyone I have seen so far. Take a look at Pewdiepie, Jacksepticeye etc. I can't stand watching/hearing those screaming banshees even for a few seconds. Also since when the "quality"(although a debatable subject) of the material uploaded, is tied are has anything to do with the comments? Or even the commenter's age, which in almost all Youtube society are mostly teens/kids since they are the majority without work, responsibilities and a whole LOT of free time who write whatever idiotic/mean/bad/crazy/ childish/immature thing that comes to their minds since they are hide behind the assuming safe, internet anonymity? Just some food for thought.
She looks older than 28 to me, more like mid 30's trying to look younger. I don't know how anyone could possibly mistake her for a teenager.
