After a fresh install of 10 , my top card still isn't clocking down at idle as it should according to the Nvidia notes bug fix

Only when i knock the desktop down to 120hz from 144hz do things behave as they should .............. :(

Great set for me on Win7 x64.Just as fast or maybe lil faster than 361.60.No usb tray icon.Dunno if by me only having usb 2.0 ports active in bios plays a part, disabled 3.0 ports at time of build as I don't need them.Excellent driver anyway.

Worked perfectly for me at 144Hz. I had the issue if a second monitor was connected, now both connected and downclocks as it should. Very happy this was resolved as quickly as it was.

Anyone else have the Debug mode checked and greyed out? I understand it's an option because of overclocked video cards, to restore default clocks, but I used to be able to turn it on and off.

Well i always wondered how the drivers get better and better over time, but as i see it now, after few initial versions the performance is the same.

1 Yes not clocked GTX 970, basically the whole computer is the same and i don't fiddle with the settings anymore. The only thing i do is switch to prefer maximum performance under power management in the drivers.

2 I use Call of Pripyat, Crysis, Metro LL, Shadow of Mordor and Thief, there are small letters on the 344.11 test :) The whole thing is a mess of numbers now, some simple Google docs charts would be much easier to read at this point for sure :(

i don't understand as why i'm still bugged with this bug i have more or less the same rig as yourself but yet not matter what i do ,eg re-installing the driver with safe-mode and using DDU doesn't fix it for me ,

Im on a clean install of 10 the .. dont get it :bang::bang:

Im on a native resolution of 2560x1440p connected with displayport cable,if this is the problem when a have more time i could try connecting using HDMI 2.0 maybe this may help

To remove the USB icon :

=> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvlddmkm key in the windows Registry and set SurpriseRemovalSupport to 0, then reboot.

    no more USB icon :)

    Yes. Works like a charm.
I wonder why they named the key SurpriseRemovalSupport :3eyes:

Does anyone know what the EnableRuntimePowerManagement key does ?
(In the same group - It's set to 0 on my rig)

Why do people care? It's an easily hidden icon. I don't get it.

Hiding it just replaces it with a collapse button. The problem is still there.

lets get one thing straight it not "problem" it an annoyance, people just cant ingore. Its a minor annoyance people are just blowing up into something it not. cause that is the thing to do on internet and forums.

soon as there is "Actually" problem they will blow that up

Hi all! I've read 361.75 driver is worst than the previous version for Rise of the Tomb Raider. Is that true? Thx ;)

I don't have the issue, that said.

From what I gather, reading some complaints around the internet. nVidia hid this install from everyone, it is not made clear in the release notes or by nVidia developers themselves.

So the driver installed something that no one was asking for, did not tell anyone it was being installed, and did not make it uninstallable/by passable.

This seems underhanded anyway you look at it.
