What problems. Its a good tool of simple use. Many of users here are using it and never had any problems with it.

Not sure how DDU would cause any issues unless it's removing things it shouldn't be removing. AMD drivers should install without a trace of a previous install, like after installating Windows.

LAV Filters don't know how to push 8k through DXVA. I really doubt the herp-derpers at Google or Mozilla even know or give a damn about such things.

So please, stop trying to play 8k Youtube videos with Firefox or Chrome; the playback is most probably software; ****ty software.

No AMD GPU supports 8K hardware acceleration as far as i know.

Still getting a blackscreen when logging into windows when overclocking with a program like afterburner on these.

For what ever reason with these new crimson drivers, AMD settings/Overdrive is holding onto my increase core/memory clocks even if I don't have my overclock to apply at start up.

So as soon as I load into windows overdrive is increasing my clock speeds but not applying voltage and I get the black screen.

Not a problem in the older catalyst control centre as Overdrive kept its nose out.

They also fixed the flickering waypoint of GTA V map when FXAA is enabled at 1080p.

when you change the memory clocks the memory locks to 500mhz gpu and 1300mhz the vram(7970 in my case) , and its impossible fix this , the only solution is reinstall the drivers , this problem persist :banana: .

There's a problem in GTA 5. There was no problem in 15.9.1.

I did clean install and used DDU.

Dreamcream is it really a driver problem. Are you sure your overclock is stable?

I haven't overclocked my gpu. I always use it with stock clocks. Btw i don't see this "artifacts" always.

Edit : There is no different in my 3Dmark score with new driver.
    http://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/7135798/fs/7127419

    15.9.1 score is 6293
    16.1 score is 6296 :)

Good Day, Guys, would you mind to pay some attention to the Anisotropic Filtering setting? In this version I've noticed that I unable to force this thing to enhance quality of filtering in at least some games - in DiRt Rally, for example, blurriness on the road is very noticeable. I've rolled back to 15.12 and now I do can force that thing again.

Apparently these drivers fixed the BSODs I was having with Radeon Software 15.12. Been using it for two days and no longer have BSODs. Too bad I can't toggle ULPS on/off with RadeonMod anymore :(

That happens to me with a 7870 and 7970. After applying amd overdrive, clocks can't go back to 300/150 and stay at 500/current mem 3d OC on idle. Also, memory clocks can't be reduced after applying an overclock with OD.
After relaunching Cnext after applying an OC with the 7970, it becomes impossible to reduce to less than stock vram clock. With the 7870 it's even impossible to remove the last vram OC, because that value becomes the minimum in the slider (even after resetting settings).
Only way to avoid this crap, is to never enable OD settings and use MSI AB instead.
