R9 380X G1 Gaming

Hello.
I'm planing to buy a new R9 380X G1 Gaming.
It is enough to play game at 2560 x 1080 with a solid 50-60 fps ?
I got a LG Ultrawide monitor 2560 x 1080 60hz.
I mostly play light games.
CS-GO.
Diablo 3.
GTA V.
Dota.
Warframe.
MMO's in general.

Or should i consider a better gpu ?

Should be ok for all the games listed but GTA V.

GTA V is not a "light" graphical game, to reach solid 50-60 fps at 2560x1080 with this GPU you'll need to lower some in game graphics settings (apart ALL included in advanced in game settings.

Some custom R9 290 would alot better choice at the same price range.

380X is not faster than 280X.

 

If he can find a 290 at the same price, there is no comparison.

 

I saw my R9 290 on Amazon for $199 after rebates a few weeks ago....

 

Now that is deal. A 970 lvl performance for that price is amazing.

 

To play GTA V at HD settings 1920 what amd gpu is good to go?

 

If you currently have 7950 (R9 280) then something like R9 390 would be a good upgrade and enough to max out GTA V.
