I've played the demo and I'm thinking about getting it (thinking about Gears of War - PC too, but don't like games Microsoft published) Is there a lot of people playing this game online?
Ive just completed Timeshift singleplayer and have to say i was very pleased with this game, the graphics were superb and the warehouse level was magnificent! flawless gameplay and the way in which you can manipulate time is cool and plays a big part to the running of the game! had no probs running it on my 7900 so you should fly this game! i give it 9/10, great fun to play for sure! aint played multiplayer yet though so cant comment.....yet!!
Gears of War is a better game in my opinion..runs very well, the graphics is beautiful and the gameplay is a lot of fun...
Ive just installed Gears Of War and so far so good! gameplay and graphics are neat and the movements look cool! cant wait to boot it up and play more! cant say if its better than timeshift though!......yet:biggun:
I've heard things about Gears for 360. Because Microsoft published it, I wouldn't want to buy it. I played Halo2 and Shadowrun with the LIVE sh**t from them... didn't like that at all. Shadowrun gameplay was a bit better, but both were worst than UT2K4.
lol there are like only 8 servers or so and all in usa i think?, because there are huge pings all over 190 wdf??
it is a great game. its not the longest, but it still offers plenty of single player action, and with the time powers, replayablity is high (ive gone through it 3 times now and still not sick of it). multiplayer is fun, especially using the time powers in it (thats right, im not gonna spoil how its done or whatnot, but its addicting)
yea i aint played the multiplayer yet but am looking forward to it, the singleplayer on timeshift was fantastic! plenty of missions to get your teeth into! playing gears of war @ the mo and i quite like it! neat graphics.
Replaying it today, I must say "What a hell of an engine", totally killed by a Pariah-level story and the poor's man Bioshock world design of the alternative timeline. But seriously, the engine (the lighting system and the optimization level) is *amazing* in 2015 too. Yeah, kind of a timejump after 8 years
Want to see something cool? Track down the alpha/first build public demo they released. Before they revamped the image and tone of the game. Shows just how different things almost were. I like TimeShift, just wish the story could've measured up. Instead, it sort of falls apart.
Hey I reinstalled it when I saw your post. But I have one question, do you have shadow map resolution forced to medium too?
Would love to see another TimeShift. It showed massive steps up from their previous title, Will Rock. But, currently, Saber Interactive have been working with 343 and Microsoft on the HALO series.
Ah I see.. weird stuff and I see it like so :3eyes::grin: I found its CFG and I tried to change it from 1 to 2, but I didn't help.. If I set all to 3, even HDRQuality it turned HDR off ingame and shadows looked even uglier.. Like it switched to low map. Can you post your CFG, its located in game directory UserConfigs/Default

Ok thanks.. 0 and 1 looks about the same, while 2 or 3 makes it a lot worse. btw by me projected shadows @ 0 made it "none" or off.
