Everyone should take note that there is not single video, trailer, teaser for this game which has not been fully staged with actors.
The trailer we need right now not the trailer we want. Yeah. fox2232.... there is tons of proof of concept. Don't be silly. Though, I will say.. at this point, we don't need a live action trailer. We need to see more of the actual game and its features. Alpha screenshots.. something.
He's saying that the voice acting is staged and the combat is scripted. I think they have a newer video that shows actual real gameplay, but all the original ones were all scripted events. No one was actually playing the game. I'm just curious to see what this game looks like when it comes out. The video/gameplay videos have seen various visual downgrades throughout its' development cycle. They completely removed real time reflections and dynamic lighting with the exception of the sun and GI. Even the particles and textures look worse in the newer videos, footprints just randomly vanish. Game looks worse and worse every time they release a video for it.
It looks alright, game play wise. Healing grenades is the only strange thing I find, just the concept 'healing' and 'grenade'.
Graphics is last thing I care about. Even at game show where people played, they joined them within grop of insiders and had director on voice-com which was constantly keeping things in prescribed way. I did read few independent articles. And even video BD2015 posted is made by insider, all scripted. Narrated by studio director. And remaining parts of clips are those internal prepared videos released through months. I am following this game for very long time. And I had very high hopes from start. But all media regarding this game were under tight control and that raises RED FLAG for me. Preorder here is no-go. Will wait few week s to see real reactions, real gameplay, real experience from different zones, game styles.
There will be a significant downgrade. Watch Dog's shouldn't have been a surprise; Ubisoft have been pulling this at E3's since 2011.
