Is it even worth to hope for something new this time? I mean, its EA right? One mission - Money. Customer satisfaction? - Mission not available. And BF5 will have micro transactions, mark my words.
Hah, hopefully no micro transactions... but never say never with grEAdy people. But what new things would you want to see? I'd like to see that they finally get the hang of weapon balance, and that there's no op guns like the infamous ACE weapons.
I want soldier to be able to run over boxes and small debris rather than getting stuck in them! Also let guns do damage to helicopters, i think Hardline does it so we are likely to get that. Also want BF2 class system, Assault, Medic, Support, Engineer, Sniper.
They really just need to give us the BF1942 HD Edition don't they? Doesnt take a game designer scientist to figure out. Add paratroopers and special forces like the SAS and all major war theatres via DLC and we'll be happy. Would look so awesoem to see tanks or ARI destroying whole houses with 3 hits. Then also add a solo campaign with the fathers of all BadCompany characters and it could be GOTY 2016.
I don't think they will do single player campaigns anymore. They saw how they got away with it in Battlefront, so I doubt they will bother in Battlefield. Which is just lazy and greedy, I always played the campaigns, and the BFBC2 one in particular was quite awesome.
It will have a single player. Maybe not the exact classes but I do think we will see 5 classes. All I personally want from BF5 is rush and conquest modes only and maps based around these modes, less "stuff" but more polished and some big BF2 style maps go look at how awesome the redone dragon vally plays and looks in BF4 maybe all I want it BF2 remade in frostbyte hmmm
lol at all the people saying no to a 2142 type game, as if it would be anything like the rubbish that the past few CoD's have had. Perks? Wall running? really? 2142 had some of the best maps DICE has ever put out (Belgrade 60 player games were just as epic as anything in BF4). The walkers and hovertanks (which we already have) were awesome. The aircraft was awesome. Even the weapons were basically reskinned modern day's with interesting features. If they do a sequel (which the Final Stand maps kind of hint at) in the 2142 tone, I PROMISE you it will be just as awesome.
This means nothing for sequel. If the maps would be as bad as the maps in BF4, would it still stand out as remarkable game? As the maps BF4 provide, will be the quality the next game provides.
hope its wwII with only 6 guns to choose from and 1 hand gun no regen anything, but holes in the map and shooting through walls is ok the first month
Yeah, tons of guns and attachments doesn't make a great game, period. I do like customization options though, like your own unique character or custom camo's. Really liked that idea in AW, different armors etc.
It means everything, as they would look at 2142's maps for inspiration. The BF4 maps have some excellent examples as well. So if that quality continues, with a 2142 spin, there's alot to be optimistic about.
I was thinking an 80's Cold War Battlefield would be awesome. Liberties would need to be taken; rewrite history.
That's simple. Recoil is your answer. Force people to burst rather then full auto, etc. It's OK when there are OP guns imo, every shooter has them. The real issue is that they're to easy to use in BF4. When I ventured outside public and played some random GO4BF4 on ESL I was baffled to find that I was beating fnatic unFixed in most 1vs1's with a heavy barrel and no grip. The competitive scene would also become more interesting again.
I agree. Only that since BF3 there's been a history of too easy to use guns. So that's four years already... don't see them magically listening to opinions like ours suddenly.
Learn to spell, jeeeeeeez.... OT: Since they messed up the BF4 TDM Noshahr canals map and Dragon Valley with such disregard for logic, I think DICE (and in particular their internal play-testing team of ****-wits) can go to hell.
