Right got it on, but doesn't seem as though im getting the right performance. Whacked everything up @1440p, but only getting :- 60.34 Avg. 42.36 Minimum. 91.85 Maximum. Im on the 15.9.1 BETAs btw. Looking around, im getting smashed by single cards, 970s the lot! Also, it doesn't work with Afterburner for me, when i try to run the bench, instead of starting it after its loaded, i just get a beep, and im back onto my desktop, with no mouse pointer, so i have to CTRL+ALT+DEL to kill it, from the Task Manager, where it says the games not responding. EDIT: Got no AA/MSAA on either.
Just tried, single card gives :- 35.53 Average. 27.33 Minimum. 56.66 Maximum. Xfire must be working then, but i may have to update my drivers, as seems like i get weird screen flashes during the benchmark, just off the start line, i get a quick flash of one of the red starting posts right in the middle of the screen, and when coming to where that digger is parked by the logs, it seems to quickly flash grey, with a white line through the middle, left to right.
Yea, new game, probably better off with the newest drivers, if they have been updated for DR yet Crimson released a hotfix to fix the fan issues, might be worth giving them a shot EDIT - Crimson didn't release a hotfix lol AMD did, for Crimson
Yeah i tried the Crimsons when they were first released, but they gave terrible core clock bouncing, so terrible performance, but now the latest Afterburner is out, i can redo a profile to hopefully lock them, so i can pop them back on (well the hotfixes), which i'll be doing tomorrow EDIT: Forgot to say, i also get weird gfx flashing when the cameras changing positions as well.
If you upgraded to 10, you'd probably get a solid 120fps you know Looks like there's gonna be an updated Afterburner coming soon too

Guys is this right? Settings are all cracked up to their max, the AA is 8xMSAA(FYI 50fps avg if 0xMSAA) The drivers are the latest hotfix crimson ones 15.11.1.. I saw a video with a 970 and the same settings, its avg is my max...
Since I am waiting on RMA for one of my 290s since both are dead, I can run single GTX 670 and 670 sli max settings @ 2560x1080 and show what I get. I use medium SMAA with 2xMSAA.
Based on Biebo's post above not, he's getting 96 average on a single 290 which would sound plausible to me given this game isn't that different from other Dirt games graphicswise I think.
What the hell is wrong then... all i can think of is the cpu. Everything else is running like it should but this game...
Yeah definitely not right that, i get terrible performance to what i should be getting as well for some odd reason, and found its not just Afterburner thats making it bomb, as a few times ive tried it without it running, its also bombed when the benchmarks loaded to run, i just get a beep, then my monitor goes into standby, and my keyboard locks up so i have to hard restart. Still on the 15.9.1s as well, as havn't got around to updating my drivers yet, not had the time, but will be trying next few days. Did you get a first time setup, like you normally do with games on Steam ?, as i didn't, after it had downloaded, i just hit play, and it just fired up straight away.
