it not the SSD its windows 10 1151 update, before that boot times were fine just like they where in win7, there are bunch people having much longer boot time on 1151 win10 on multiple systems

performance of SSD is exactly what always been which is 277/250 cause I limited to SATA II

returning back to win7 and Win 10 10240build and I have 30 second boot times (beep to desktop) 1151 build and it 50+ and then some. read the win 10 topics you will find other people complain about same boot time issues.

What Sata Controller driver do you have installed? I had a similar issues and i had Intel's 12.9 AHCI driver, downgrading to another fixed my issue.

I noticed that too after upgrading to Windows 10. Magician told me there were no updates available for Magician itself until I went to Samsung and found an update which removed several features that aren't compatible in Windows 10...and then in came the firmware update.

LMAO - Just went to download Magician 4.9.5 and Windows Smartscreen blocked it.

    Get it together Samsung. Sheesh.

    I have flashed my 840 Pro probably 7 - 8 times w/o problems. But it's not 100% safe.

    Release notes for Magician 5:
    • Completely redesigned and more intuitive user interface.
    • New models support: 960 PRO, 960 EVO.
    • SSD model specific feature installation system.
    • System compatibility guide.
    www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/downloads/software/Samsung_Magician_Installer.zip

When trying to download the last update from their webpage I got redirected to their homepage since the file seems to have been removed.

I took another look at their site and grabbed Magician 5.0, but it seems very limited in terms of features or am I missing something here?
