I've already posted something about it (this and this), it's working fine and without any performance drop actually, I'm working on the final touches with the help of txgt so I will surely create a thread soon and release it along with his v2 hopefully.
You know guys, I wanted to just drop WD modding so many times cause of the tedious process of it. I don't think of myself as a Modder. I just wanna play the freaking game! But I just couldn't stand overall dull look of the game just because of what Ubi showed us before the release. All that I did, all that we did is actually fixing the graphics of this game (except The Silver, infinuum and others). And now I just wanna finish what I started with best result possible, no matter how long it will take. Hey mleemiles, sorry to see you leave. But I can see you still have some interest in this game, otherwise why would you post in my WD thread
Which demo is that exactly? the link please I think the rain drops is more sharper when you turn off DOF and use SMAA or MSAA Anti-aliasing.
Sorry my bad, E3 2013 demo. Link's here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPYgXvgS6Ww It's a bit like Batman rain (Nvidia gamework?)
I see. Maybe it can be achieved by brightening raindrop texture, Idk. It seems like it's also slightly bigger in the demo.
Screenshot looks very good TXGT! looking forward to V2 so I can finally start playing bad blood hurry up with V2 I wanna finish the dlc but iam waiting for v2!
I edited some pictures, and you notice even more the excellent job of the silver. But the parallax mapping will be included in the txgt mod 2.0 or will be released separately?
It's not POM, it's the Relief Mapping which is not much differ from the POM to a regular person. He'll release it separatly and it will be included in v2. No exact release date yet, but we'll release in first half of December.
http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4990496&postcount=87 Almost a year ago I discovered the "RM", but I was not able to turn it back on. I look with great joy next mod
Amazing results. So, what's the difference between POM and Relief Mapping? If you guys could give examples, it'd be even better.
They're just the names of two different ways of implementing the same effect basically, there's no noticeable difference for the end user.
