Got my EK Waterblock all hooked up with QDC to my Predator cooler. Still playing around with fan orientation and pump speed to find optimal performance, but boy is it ever nice to no longer hear that GPU fan

    http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/msi_geforce_gtx_980_ti_lightning_review,36.html

swicth to LN2 bios, just down Temp Target 85-90 Degrees C,power limiter 120%,Voltage GPU 1.2V,raise up fan setting 80-100%..

this surely can go any further and will more insanely using LN2 for Xtrme OC:banana:

interesting to know&try Asus 980Ti Matrix Pltnm version:)

so you guys really want to pay 1049.-$ for 80+asic.
if other companys hop on that bandwagon then good night.
i am only talking bout gamers here not benchers.

Im thinking about getting two 980ti with reference coolers.

just because it would work better with the cooling in my HAFx then the two 780s I got.

my HafX keeps my 2 MSI 980ti under 75c at 1481 core. I removed the hard drive cage to allow better airflow from front 200mm fan my ssds are in 525 bays

I have 2 of those cards and both using the same fcwb's that you just installed and the temps are amazing. Both cards in a gpu only loop using a EK 420mm rad, and a GTX240 all in push pull, both cards @ 1501mhz 7700mhz ram, load 100% @ 32c/34c and idle just near ambient... Performance is amazing.

Wow 34c under load that is a nice temperature
    My gtx 980ti@1460 does avg 43c and cpu@4500mhz 48c in house temperature 19c 3x12cm radiator 1 240 and 1 120 rad.

Give memory oc also a fps boost?

yep at least when i'm forcing SGSSAA bumping from 3500mhz to 4000mhz gives almost 10fps

    @topic
Too bad tho it seems my 980TI isn't even stable in Blade & Soul even at stock, dunno but i starting to think it's this game only wich causes me some troubles with TDRs, played last saturday 14h Fallout 4 straight without any issues whatsoever, actually B&S is the only game wich gives me problems

So tonight i was running both cards in assassin's creed syndicate @ 1488 mhz boost and 250 on the memory and still i had no extra voltage added just using the default and they pretty much stayed on that for a 2hr gaming session i did increase the power and temp target to the max in afterburner and set the temp as priority
    Temps top card was 79
    bottom card was 72

considering my temps i think that i would have to sort that out with more fans as i think any added voltage and they would start to throttle , my 780s would start to throttle at 75c i think .

are these 980ti using gpu boost 2 and if so could someone tell me at which point they start clocking down ,i've had a quick google but can't find a definate answer

@ Kevin - Nice ice blue theme!

47 degrees max under load? That's pretty insane, do you keep your computer in the fridge or something? :D

I don't have time during the week to drain my loop and get this one added so for the moment I'm just running it on air to ensure it's a happy little card and not a DOA. Now i can't wait for my 28" ASUS PB2B7Q 4K to arrive tomorrow to really give these cards some punishment.
