As far as I understood, AMD Gaming Evolved was to be made redundant by Crimson moving the DVR capabilities into the driver set but this is not the case, perhaps it'll be so in the future but being stuck with the flimsy raptr client is very annoying.

    Nice! Thanks for replying.
I was afraid that such a big change like that would break radeonPRO.

So uhm, every non-GCN card is legacy now.
Are those "beta" Crimson drivers for the legacy cards same as the GCN Crimson drivers in terms of optimization and whatnot?

No, this was never suggested by AMD.

Well. Like I was feared. 2720 x 1530 the maximum (</= r9 280x) resolution for me even with Crimson (atm at least)...

...+1 pixel on vertical/ horizontal and I've got black screen. Though maybe it's because of my monitor. Anyone have better luck?

Battlefield 4 stopped working three times in a row. I wonder why.
    Yeah, crash related to "C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\atidxx64.dll".
    Why i'm not surprised.

I've never been happier. VSR's working (on VGA), VCE's finally working too, that means I can finally use Action! now without my whole system crashing. The thing wouldn't even open before. http://i.imgur.com/fFGjEJz.png

Damn, AMD, I don't know what you've done, but keep it going, you're doing it right.

The video setting is missing a lot of options.

HEVC under Windows 10 has gone missing again, it was back in the 15.11 driver package after missing in 15.10.

You want to force your monitor to use more pixels than it actually has? As far as i know this feature has nothing to do with VSR.

Your monitor turns black, because it becomes 'out of range'

It works well, it is 1st tool which allowed me to OC XL2420T from 120Hz to anything above 121Hz (which is actually 3D mode enabler).
Tested with frameskip test by taking series of photos

Trying to get 1440@50p or 1080@30p but no luck here. Always "Error, unsupported by your display blah blah". VSR 1440p60 and 1800p60 works just like previous drivers.

Getting 50p in VSR resolutions would be godsend for me. Anyone able to get it?

Guys, you are adjusting the monitor drivers. It has nothing to do with VSR or your GPU. You cannot set the resolution higher than your native resolution. You will get an "out of range" error or your screen won't do anything and stays black.
