Look at the CPU turbo frequency. About 500 MHz difference ...

ok so did my tests and found out this driver sucks that comes with radeon software so i manually installed 15.11.1 with RC and everything works great

Good notice. Though 11% higher cpu clock shouldn't end up in having 37.4% increase in drawcalls. Or 25% higher total drawcall count on last frame (which I think is better measurement as we sometimes get unstable last frames).

On reddit they're saying that the official release will happen only few weeks later than now and that this is the press driver.

So this should be considered as a Beta driver. To avoid any confusion I ask the OP to change the name to the thread to take that in consideration.

Damn, few weeks is so far away. Well, we may get even more fixes/optimizations in future WHQL certified release.

Just out of curiousity. Do you have the option to choose where to save shader cache data? I would very much like it to be saved on my gaming SSD instead of OS SSD.

Well let's see then. Still what does bother me is that the drivers are not WHQL signed. Even if is the press release, shouldn't they be the same of the official release if they're doing it today?

This may well mean that he's only pointing to the press release and review coming today.

Not few weeks. It will be out later today on AMD site.

Pretty sure these are beta, maybe the one AMD release later is a higher version. Have to wait and see.

Installed and seem fine so far, solid performance but haven't benchmarked yet.
Only issue so far is I seem to be getting strange sort of pixelation glitch in Shadow of Mordor.
Like watching a low quality video. Occurs in certain parts of the screen in certain areas, usually distant shadows.

    Waiting for the official release...

That additional settings button opens old CCC for me and there are monitor settings, and no I did not check it from installer.
