I hope the Shadercache feature will fix the stutter at Battlefront load.
The rest of the presentation is pure marketing with already existing features and some marketing bs...

If it is anything like the Omega release, the 20% increase will be year on year, meaning that this driver will be 20% faster than Omega.

Which is, because if it wasn't the 390/x would be valid alternatives for the 900 series. I don't expect any huge increases with the specific driver, any good surprise is welcome though.

Supposedly did nothing for NVIDIA users. Different architecture I know. I'd take any improvements that reduce frametime fluctuations.

According to the presentation the shader cache will reduce the loading times in Star Wars battlefront and will reduce stutter and latency in the Witcher 3.

EDIT: damn, you guys are fast :p

By the way if these are the "Top 10" issues something is seriously wrong with the driver feedback report system...

Maybe with Shader Cache I'll be able to play The Witcher 3 through.

Sounds like decent upgrades even on performance side. But what really interests me is that "optimised flip queye size". Which should make input latency smaller. Sounds very promising.

Indeed, for this was the best part of the entire "new" technology implemented.

I also would like to note that the up to 23% power savings only work on Fury, R7 370 and R9 380 series, witch is weird. GCN 1.2 seems to be have other ecotech designs than Hawai, too bad, it would be awesome to 290/390 users.

Or people reporting issues. Seriously I have many friends who never make bug report. I quess it just the attitude " nah , someone must have already reported this"

Only for monitors that have a maximum refreshrate that is >2,5X the minimum refreshrate? Well, no smoother gameplay for me then. My maximum refreshrate (60hz) isn't 2,5x the minimum refreshrate (40hz) :(

I think they not sure that if your monitor has Freesync enable & it goes under 40fps or 48fps to 45fps or 35fps you still get smooth gameplay but not as smooth when you have 48fps or 40fps & up.

Which makes no sense whatsoever since R7 350 and 370 are GCN 1.0.

Hoping this provides a performance boost of some kind for my 290X. The most recent beta drivers seem to if anything lowered my overall performance.
