You can trade with caravans roaming around settlements or vendors in settlements or big cities.

Crafting resources are literally the junk you find lying around, cigarette packs, tin cans, oil cans, circuit boards...

i d like to mention that this game doesn t justify frying my gpu to 58 degrees and using 1.9 gb vram of it on medium detail without aa with this outdated game engine. i mean bf4 doesnt even use 1.1 gb vram and temps in bf4 is always 52 c ingame on 64 player map i dont know what kind of optimization issues this game has seriously.

Last Nexus Mod Manager 0.61.0 adds Fallout 4 mod support.

I've just downloaded the first "Enhanced Wasteland Preset" version from the link you posted going to the files sections and clicking in download manually:

    FALLOUT 4 - Enhanced Wasteland Preset v2.0 13 Nov.

(if you click on my link on the new page click on 2continue with my download wait a couple seconds and download will start)

Simply click on manual and wait a few seconds and the browser will download it for you or ask for folder to download.

I downloaded the second and updated version:

FALLOUT 4 - Enhanced Wasteland Preset v2.0 (Depth of Field Version) 15 Nov.

Via NMM using the "download with manager" under files from your link and "continue with my download" on popup.

Visited Nexus for fallout mods and one of the hot mods is "Glorious female nude mod". Dont worry about HD textures, priorities lol

I wish there were some more reshade profiles and ugly fem character saves on the nexus, I can't seem to find any, lol.

Games chugs way too hard when in cities. It's killing the fun big-time having to avoid certain places and tired of tweaking it. Might come back after a patch or two.

Have you tried turning off God Rays?

While it doesn't fix cities I did find it helped bring it back into acceptable performance... for me at least it did.

Wouldn't advise turning off god rays tbh, visual gap is too big, setting them to low is enough.

Turn shadow distance to high or lower than high but above medium (ini tweak) and turn off reflections.

    And forget about 4k

The visual difference being Godrays are off... That is the difference xD

So 2500k 4.5ghz is not enough for the fo4? Game definitely needs performance patch.

Godrays are a bit overdone imo. Like in Stalker Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat, they wash everything out. I guess it's a stylistic choice but I don't much care for them.

God rays make some difference when set to Ultra, but there is almost no difference in Low vs High (and very little visual difference anyways) for me.

Only thing that seems to make a difference is shadow draw distance and even at Medium (3000) it drops hard in too many places. Tested it with custom ini settings down to 1000 and FPS never drops below 60 outside of odd stutter but its way too ugly to consider playing.

Pushing Gamebryo to its limits I guess.

Same here. Given up till it gets fixed. When it drops just a few frames, its like no other game, its just slo-mo.

Painkiller would do that as well.
People Can Fly's Pain Engine would go into a slowmo/bullet time effect when the frame rate bottomed out.

It was almost more fun playing the game like that at times... just because of how odd it was.
