@fantaskarsef - What Turanis was saying was he'll not go nVidia, nothing about ini tweaks on nVidia cards.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to. Didn't get what he meant hehe
And yes I know of ini tweaking, so I was a bit confused since when this wouldn't work on nvidia cards ;)

fShadowsDist on 2500 will likely produce some shadow pop-in type results. It certainly reduces the draw calls and will restore performance though.

Consider trying a value closer to 5000+- to avoid a degraded graphical experience.

The default fov could be used to send the image to my 60' TV at 10 feet from my sofa and look good like any "console experience" but at 2 feet (or a little less) of my 27' 16:9 monitor i need to use a fov of 106 to feel it normal.

Yes this is very taxing on FPS and Bethesda must fix multi-gpu support.

Right now it's very possible that the game runs better in single GPU mode than CFX.

    :(

The 15.11 beta did give some scaling (10 procent boost at best). With the 15.11.1 beta CrossFire is disabled completely.

Why? Does the Zen scheduled to release in 2016? I thought it was. I missed something?

Most possibly all the extra effects and PBR (and especially Temporal AA) increase frame dependencies so much that any form of AFR will either not work at all, or give a ton of artifacting. I don't know what they (AMD and NVIDIA) could do.

    !!!!

I didn't feel the scaling was worst in 15.11.1 than in 15.11, equally broke.

I guess AMD can't fix crossfire without Bethesda doing his homework first.

Yes,I know. But the engine&shadows are broken,so I prefer some performance over that shadow mess.
In Catalyst I already put Texture Filter on High,Tesseellation 16x,AF 16x.
SweetFX with SMAA+FXAA is better than blurry TAA(TXAA).

Until Bethesda repair(if they could) this game play as I(you) wish. :)
Glad,as Radeon owner,we have the tools to make some broken games run better.

Ofc this 15.11.1 is make it for Fallout 4.15.7 is already too old.
Nice fps drops in same scene. :D

RAM+Vram are not utilized at full capacity.Only Page file.

    15.11 = 60/60 scaling. 15.11.1 = second GPU disabled.

The Crysis 3 profile could give you better scaling with volumetric lighting disable, but there are some annoying glitches. First off all AO becomes bugged and very pixelated. The most annoying thing is that the textures may glitch and you might see very weird and ugly looking textures.

    What about 15.11.1 vs 15.11?

it' obvious that last drivers perform better in FO4 than drivers from 4 months ago when the game was not released.

So what are you doing and think is better? Revert to 15.11 until fixed?

Could be right.Anyway this driver works great in FO4.

If Bethesda could see a difference between High vs Ultra Textures let us know. From what I see Skyrim dont know Ultra Textures (same engine).

I think it's best to just install the 15.11.1 drivers and leave CrossFire disabled for now.
