Yeah I was thinking so too, mostly seems to be about increasing cpu usage and reducing hitches outside.

I'm under 60fps (highly variable, 25-60) cause my gpu is at 100%, not going to magically fix that.

Probably related to your Inputmapper settings? I have this:

I think it did improve a bit on my side, inside cities i now get 45-50fps sometimes when previously i was getting below 40fps.

Some others i see in the comment section also gained performance, why would they lie about it?

Thanks, got it, my one said [KB]F5

Turns out I need to click the button, tick sancode then press F5 on the virtual keyboard. Whatever sancode does.

Placebo I guess, I doubt they were actually measuring it in the first place and are measuring in different areas.

Loaded up the same save file, same fps tweak or not. Idk, maybe depends on the specific scene and system hardware/bottleneck.

Again man, shame to see you playing such a CPU heavy game with 2500k stock. Find a damn Z77 itx board and ramp it up to 4.8Ghz. You can probably push 60fps+ if you overclock that chip with your 780.

I finally got to the big city... ohh my goodness what a lag fest..

I haven't seen a game run like that since like.... 2001.

Turning off space screen reflections and god rays went back to the corvega plant and did seem better. In fact lag/fps dips are pretty minimal.

Am on the older drivers maybe it's time to try the latest...

p.s I do tend to take these games slow so am sure things will improve.

    Anyone using sweetfx?

Can confirm enabling Adaptive V-Sync boost FPS for some reason.

Had drops on high on the first area, they're gone since I enabled it.

Btw, hows the mouse lag in fullscreen v-synced?

Still as sluggish as in Skyim?

I'm using this one from Nexus -

    http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/40/?

I like the clearer less hazy look of the mod. But if you also meant about performance like improved fps I haven't even got into much fighting or any demanding situations such as that. So I can't help much for whether it hurts or helps fps. I'm mainly into games for the graphics.

Amazing how some of the keyboard keys are hard coded, so if you are left handed and use your left had for the mouse, lock picking is difficult. Why it cannot be linked to the cursor keys like in Fallout 3 and Skyrim who knows.

Its just me or TAA is much blurry than FXAA+Catalyst AA enhance+Edge detect?Blurry especially on character clothes.

I try to add Fallout 4 profile in Catalyst 15.11 and bam! looks like the profile is already there.

Wonder how do you remove objects from interiors or anywhere for that matter? I'm trying disable and markfordelete. And trying to get identification codes to show up for bodies and some other objects. I guess the codes have to display in order to delete the object right?

Edit: It's for my saved games. When I return to an area in a save, usually an interior, and I don't want a gory body in the room. You could easily remove them, or some of them in Oblivion and in FO3 too I think.

Edit again: Figured it out, you have to be standing right over the dead bodies to get the ident code to show up. Was standing too far back.

    For me its fine.

I'm also at car plant and my FPS have pretty much stayed solid 60FPS, haven't gone inside yet. The game runs well for me, at least I can't complain.

    I'm enjoying it.

I highly suggest enable TAA and SMAA+FXAA with sharpening from Reshade, it looks gorgeous. :D

Haven't noticed a single FPS drop with that, maybe cause i had some GPU power to spare, my GPU usage is always below 80% and steady 60fps. (some drops here and there but only in cities and it's not caused by this)

    Thanks. :)
But FXAA(ingame)+SMAA+Reshade FTW! TAA is almost TXAA,a proprietary tech from Nvidia.
Is too blurry on clothes, after some tests its no worth it.

Yeah the GPU is not even on 90%,only CPU goes up and down.
