Holy crap! I was only joking and they actually do that. What sense does that make?

Anyone else getting random crashes? The game just quits to desktop with no error message or anything.

I just find it so utterly wrong that a game can be given a near perfect score when the review documents so many problems. It's dishonesty, and it genuinely pisses me off. That's not to say it's only Fallout 4 where this happens, it happens with a lot of games.

As I said, I'll go back to avoiding such news outlets as I always have. I've always preferred talking with friends and skimming over gameplay footage over reviews anyway. I'll wait until the game goes on sale, by then there should be some healthy mod support and the bugs should mostly be ironed out.

I have it capped at 60, i'll try 58 and enable Present Interval again. I've heard if you cap it at 58 with vsync it gives less input lag.

Only physx glitches i've seen are the trees moving super fast and some skeletons blowing up in the sky lol.

And grats on your new videocard, hope it serves you well. :)
I'm waiting for Pascal, 780 will last me till then.

I'll wait until someone mods the cartoonish low-res character models.

I think you'll be a solid (pretty much) 60FPS with your setup.

You do realize that these forums are the antithesis of game review sites.
I do agree with you though 100%.

Yeah saw that happening to this guy too early in the day on his 980, looks like stuttering/jittering:

    http://www.twitch.tv/cohhcarnage

Ps.- It seems like the jittering still there. In the morning when he was using some green lamp it was much more severe. If turning down godrays fixes it then it´s because of gameworks.

This games sense of scale is incredible compared to fallout 3 and new vegas. Everything there felt more like it was a scale model plopped onto the map, now you can go up towering elevated highways taller than even mr house's tower in new vegas.

You cannot score a product on potential, you can't guarantee it'll ever meet that potential. When you review a product you review it as is, not what it might end up being. If that's how they want to work it, they should do a revised review at a later date.

After seeing all the excuses gamers have thought up for the half assery and what not for this game, while lamenting, complaining and steam refunding other games for the exact same issues, this is what comes to mind:

A game should not reach a near perfect score based upon what other people may or may not experience, it should be scored objectively based upon what the reviewer experienced on a per game basis. The reviewer experienced and commented on the following:

Hitching, weak animations, frame drops, crashes, bugged quests.

The problems stated were experienced on all launch platforms. The bugs were not specified, but it's safe to say that they're commonplace considering most other reviewers have mentioned similar (or worse), as have a large number of users. As mentioned above, the bugs are not the only issues the game has, and this is admitted by the reviewers in question.

As I said, the statements made by the reviewer do not reflect a near perfect score. It does point toward unethical practices, but that's another discussion entirely.

Seems pretty spot on, there's some heavy bias from the apologists out there. That's not directed at anyone in this thread btw.
