    Tesselation seems like water in Skyrim 2. Im wating for test with limited tesselation to x8, like in W3.
    Optimized drivers would be helpfully.

    There's still plenty of room for user adjustments.

    Anyone find a working crossfire profile?

    They are updating the benchmark i posted earlier. They now also test the R9 390X and the GTX 980 with gameworks off. The performance increase for the R9 390x with Gameworks off is 36 procent.

    According to them the game still uses Gameworks, even if you don't have god rays on extra. Only way to disable it is by changing two config files. So there is no way of disabling Gameworks ingame.

    What needs to be changed?

    Fallout4.ini -> God Rays
    Fallout4Prefs.ini -> volumetric lighting

    The same effects Far Cry 4 had and those settings had an huge impact on the performance.

    The game isn't even out yet. I will just wait for user reviews and see if CrossFire is working. Without CrossFire this game is a total no go for me. Those frametimes also look very scary to me.

    OMG, those frametimes are horrible. And I preordered this. If AMD won't release optimized driver for this, I'll have to wait again the new driver. Nice. Just great:bang:

    The benchmarks are showing Fallout 4 maxed out, including GameWorks features. Disable them and lower maximum tessellation to 16 or 8x.

    The frametimes are also horrible on medium settings, but it might be related to Gameworks that is still running.

    I think my old 290X can handle it on max settings, but it will stutter like 3-rd and new vegas. I want smooth gameplay, but here we have upgraded engine from New vegas, which still stutter.

    I know. It's just one of those games that was NVIDIA'ised.

    I resolved it with the iFPSClamp command at that time.

    I'm playing the game, Crossfire doesn't work, I used VPN to australia. AFR friendly gives good fps but the game looks like it renders at like half resolution then, which is weird. BF4 profile does the same thing too.

    Fallout 4 uses the same engine as Skyrim. So maybe you could give the Skyrim profile a try.

    It also has weird artifacts, doesn't work well with the new dynamic lighting system.

    game runs horrid on the consoles too, im sure something will improve. that said, disable nvidia settings and be reasonable and im sure it will be fine. the consoles cant even hit 30 fps.
