Wasn't the pagefile. Was Extra textures. Set them back to High, and usage went back to 3GB and 7GB, respectively, and no crashes.

You need to restart the game if you change any graphical options as it doesn't flush the textures from the vram. Makes it frustrating to find the perfect balance of settings.

Extra textures, Motion Blur and Volumetric Lighting are the source of low performance. Motion Blur was the biggest offender (maybe crossfire problem). The FPS cap doesn't really work for me either. I set it to 240 and it will become 200-230. Set to 120 and it will be 100-118. 200 and it will be 170-188. Although I had the exact same problem with Black Ops II. An external limiter will result in the fps being exactly solid at the cap.

Also it doesn't matter how much VRAM you have. By default the game will target to utilize 90% of it by keeping all textures loaded so they don't need to be streamed in again.

Does anyone else having fps goes down to 18 fps ? at the start it reaches to low as 15 when you go out the airport tower.

Everything is on max. 1920x1080p Filimc x2 SMAA

So when can you use those settings ? only 980 TI SLI ?

I don't know what people talk, the graphics are amazing in 3D. I mean people who don't play in 3D have no idea what they are missing. Using Tridef the game is amazing.

According to the .ini, it would even be 95% in my case. Nice touch seeing they removed their encryption on the config file again.

Hmm... strange, runs very good on my side, not a single crash everything maxed out, just textures "high" on 5910x1080 triple screen.

Could be because of 16gb memory, or the SSD?

You might want to check the page 1 and 2 titles, they state it's CoD: Advanced Warfare and not Black Ops.

Once again the longevity of Nvidia cards are found wanting.
The 290 is still performing strong. Titan users must feel robbed.

They are all a buffer overruns. Who knows, 353.49 might fix his problem too.

According to OC3D it has major memory leaks and requires ~12GB RAM in certain situations.

Really nothing to be laughing about here, unless you enjoy upgrading your GPU every year.

    R9 290 51FPS

    Now that's funny!

I find CoD incredibly boring now as it's the same crap over and over, so if Maxwell were put in that position, I wouldn't care. By the time BO4 comes out I'll have the next best thing.

This game is... (I have no need for ban due to...)

It is not Kepler, ir is not Maxwell, it is not GCN something. It is poor resource management on engine side.
GTX 970 is GTX980 with just 1/8th disabled, yet 980 performs 24~35% better based on resolution.
    390X touches Fury.
R9-290 is 14% behind gtx970 on 1080p, but then on 1440p it is 9% faster. And finally on 4k they are match in performance.

This game does not take sides, they made it to battle every single GPU owner out there.

Now, it is as usually in hands on nV/AMD to fix this mess.

I know some game dev doesn't care a sh** about what we think of them AFTER we buy their games but...

...ain't nobody at Treyarch aware of the Steam refund policy and the "Batman Gate"?

No, they want to give you 'This Special Opportunity' to feel like Eric Cartman.
