AMD Catalyst 15.10 Beta Driver

This is just common sense. It exists in OSX (which is slow for everything else), and you have it on Linux for years and years with ZRAM. It's gonna make things much better.

 

The most recent fast ring build FINALLY shows DX12 feature levels in DXDIAG.

 

It's a driver update which corrected that (since 15.9 I think), not Windows build.
DX12 feature levels shown for me too on RTM 10240.

So I just did a fresh install on my brothers computer and have all the Windows Updates on. About to install chipset drivers and then video drivers (950 chipset and 6950), but don't want to put what's out now if new official drivers are about to be released.

Has there been any indication from AMD when these will go official instead of beta?

 

TH2 is rolling out starting Nov 2nd, so id say next week sometime.

Would be interesting if we get it early here in Australia, just like Windows 10 release.

It's 3:10AM right now, so tomorrow at 12AM I'll check for updates and see if we're getting it before everyone else well, except New Zealand and a few other islands to our east.

 

Sure would be nice if we could get them before 4 PM CST this Monday. My bro could swing down after work on his night off from the wife and pick up his PC. Please AMD!

 

correction: looks like th2 has been pushed back at least a week.

MS didnt sign off on the final build this week like they were supposed to.

they pushed back from October as well, par for the course i guess...

 

The next omega driver will probably coincide with call of duty black ops 3 rather than windows 10 threshold 2. So hopefully the new driver is released this coming week.

 

Windows 10 TH2 was aim to come out this Tuesday 11/3/15 but the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10576 Microsoft found some bugs they need to fix before release it to the public thanks to Windows Feedback people who report the bugs to MS, MS delay it a week so they can fix Xbox 1 controller driver loop & etc.

So next week is Xbox 1 Windows 10 update 11/12/15 & Windows 10 TH2 update 11/10/15.

 

So what's the final verdict with these, Win 7 x64, GTA V, World of Warships and OpenGL games/programs?

 

coincidentally, the 10th is also patch tuesday...
