got a zotac amp omega core edition from my local retailer for $410 cdn. Was on special regular $445 cdn. Came to $463 with tax. Loving the heck out of it. At 80 percent fan, I can't hear it.

    check this out:
I was getting really bad throttling with my new custom bios during SW:BF BETA. It was really bad, 1389-1392.5Mhz were the worst clock speeds. Look what I had to do to fix it. The graph is about 30 minutes of gameplay. No more throttling due to voltage or power.

Did you remember what the PerfCap reason is called when having too low PT?

    Hello.
Planning to get a 970 but i have 1 question related to my monitor and 970 itself.
I got a LG 25 2560x1080 21:9 Ultra Wide, the question is: what resolution i can achieve with 970 and DSR on that monitor.

Welcome to the forums! I've been here since the late 90's....I think "Geforce" was "Nvidia Forceware", back then...There are good people here.

And....no. That doesn't work like that any more. There can be issues in SLI between even cards among the same manufacturer. I would check before planning on it.

For instance. EVGA ACX 2.0 won't SLI with EVGA ACX 2.0+. Go figure.

Yeah, I also think it's a good looking card.

The Asus Strix I got as a second 970 looks big and ugly next to it, it's also slower.

The ASUS 970 Strix was my first choice because of its color, build and backplate. But in the end, I went with Galax due to the fact that the card is cheaper, faster and the brand itself is quite rare in my country. Majority of my friends are using Gigabyte, Asus, MSI and EVGA. Happy to share that the card perform, fit and blends nicely on my 2yr old PC. :)
