Well, this solves the mystery of the missing 358.70 driver.

    358.50 - r358_00-102 - 2 Oct 2015
    358.59 - r358_50-3 - 12 Oct 2015
    358.70 - r358_00-125 - 18 Oct 2015
    358.78 - r358_00-131 - 21 Oct 2015

Thanks for the link, downloading now.

I was getting NVCP not respoding on 358.70 quite allot when I was disabling/enabling SLI causing me to reboot system, never had that before with drivers. I have to disable SLI for the Oculus Rift to work on 0.7 Runtimes. Maybe that's why 358.70 was pulled, just a guess.

There are a lot of SLI related fixes in this driver:

Anyone tried these ones with g-sync ? apperently there was some kind of problem with the 358.70 ones and g sync from what ive read.

Ok, this driver seems to result in an OS hang when the monitor shuts off by the power settings timeout on my PC. It also seems to cause a hang when restarting the OS. Went back to .70 for now.

Yes finally!! Oculus Rift now working in SLI with 358.78 along with the .08 runtimes that I've just noticed are out.
Will have to do some testing to see what benefits, if any, I get. Time to load up DCS.

So .70 and .78 are older than .59 then and don't contain the GSYNC fix?

They're not older, they're just from a different "subbranch" inside the R358, same one which the first R358 WHQL release is from.
.70 contained the GSync fix AFAIK. No idea about the .78.

I've did a different install of .78 and I still have the same issue on restart and display off.

Nope, but it's a great addition for 358.70, which were removed without no explanation.

358.70 already had support for DX12 on Fermi, tested this myself in 3DMark API overhead test with a GTX 470 and Windows 10 Insider 10565 (10240 won't work).

/edit: In contrast, 358.78 does not support WDDM 2.0 and DX12 with Fermi.

If you aimed for single card performance without VR, imo just stick with .70
    Time to rollback.
