Nvidia 355.98 WHQL Drivers

Having EXACTLY the same issue. I use NVIDIA GeForce Experience mostly for the autoupdater. Saw new drivers today, i get the BSOD (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA) whenever i try to install (pretty much immediately after clicking update, looks to be during unpacking). Tried restarting and turning off Kaspersky Anti-virius and Malwarebytes, no change.

Windows 10 home
GTX 980

After reboot, Kalpersky Support box pops up, saying "Previous Application Launch Failed" and wants me to send info about the moment of application failure to them.

 

Uninstall Kaspersky

 

Works Fine on my Rig win10 x 64
Good for BF4

 

I don´t have manual OC, only factory OC. It is a GTX 970 G1 Gaming (Gigabyte)

Now im running the 355.82 !!

In that case I'll just install 356.04 and be done with it.

 

If it works on AMD h/w then it works on AMD h/w.
Doesn't mean that it can and should work anywhere else.
I repeat: stop spreading AMD's FUD.

 

Installed fine using DDU in safe mode as always for me ,played a few hours of GTA V and no problems as i could see .
I'm back on win8.1 , but there very well may be something strange with this driver as reading to many post about BSOD , useless it just the kaspersky AV issue.

 

I tested them out more thoroughly last night, and I think you're right. The VRAM bug does appear to be back with this driver set.

And the 356.xx dev drivers seems to have the VRAM bug fix implemented.

 

i can say is great drivers, it run perfectly on my Windows 10

 

Installed drivers today had 2 Firefox crash's "not responding"

 

ya no issue & TDR is way long disappeared. BSOD is a sign of h/w failure or over-heating. crap PSU with lousy caps.

 

With the other drivers i got "Display driver has stopped working and recovered" after i wake the computer from sleep on Windows 10. I think it has disappeared with this driver set

 

Any performance gain with games?

 

for yeah but for other BSOD or more issue only. go for AMD if wanna play DX-12 games.

It's Flash plugin that is a pile of poop actually. Check if killing the plugin container process in task manager in such cases make FF respond again.

 

How is the performance in TW3? I hate the hickups from release till now
