Just got an email that i got invited to a stress test starting from 21st till 23rd. The real beta starts also that week.
I had an email saying I was accepted to the beta awhile back, but nothing since then as far as where to go to download the client etc... I take it this stress test is different then the more (semi) open beta?
Because the game is gonna be a mess in its current state. Maybe they hope to get better/more feedback? I dont have high hopes for this game anyway. Tho i hope im wrong. I loved the old titles (Not Vegas crap).
I had tons of fun with the alpha, i hope we get some graphics settings to play with this time and higher res textures. Only complaint i had is that the weapons look ugly and a bit oversized. Some 27min of terrorist hunt gameplay:
Just watched the video above and the game looks... awful. Seems like everything that was good about Rainbow Six is.... gone.
Well everyone has their own taste in games. And yeah i liked the Alpha alot, it was so much fun. :banana:
Theres a benchmark in the beta, i got 60fps all the way through zero drops and that's on max settings. EDIT: And disabling Depth of Field lowered my GPU usage like 20-30% lol. It says it's for while aiming down the sight, wich you don't see in the benchmark that's really weird, unless the distance is blurred also.
