A Drone was top of me this weekend while i was in my garden.

Well this is new to me. Drones r rare around here and this sht was spying my garden. me, wife, my bro and his wife and their kids were having a nice weekend till that camera mounted drone appeared and Wzzzz sounding above us.

i have a SOFT rifle. or how u call it. was gonna shoot it but it disappeared. as i googled they dont stay on air long anyway. 10-20 min max? fcking sht. spying ur neighbour ie legal since when? iam sure there is no LAW for this yet in here but i will call police next time.

by the way i saw where t landed . not far here. can send my MEN to them and say a HELLO. but not yet. hope fcker wont come again. so rude man.

Make a signal blocker so it crashes when it comes near your house

Probably uses 2.4GHz, make something with a massive output wattage on that frequency you can turn on next time you see it

Maybe even just another radio control handset with a switch you can change channels with until you hit his channel, then steal the drone

If you have the right channel and frequency, and you are closer to the drone than the owner is, your signal will be stronger, at the very least, neither of you will be able to control it and it crashes, and best case, you gain complete control lol

I have read of drones flying with nets to intercept other drones. You should have a net ready to throw at the drone It should drop in no time

Yup, if that happens once more I would do the same and then wait on the hood of my car in front of the house for the fvckers to come and take their crashed drone, if they ever come. But here no one is stupid enough to do something like that and then came to pickup pieces of drone, "warm welcome" is only thing he would get. :smack:

If you don't solve that until next summer I'll come to "vacation rescue" in June or July in Turkey but can't smuggle any of my guns or rifles. If you have any soft rifle it should be fine, still in a perect shape even after 20 years without active shooting training. This summer while we were on vacation in our cabinnear Danube I was training my kids to shoot with my old trusty (and still looking like brand new) Slavia 631 Lux. A bit heavy for my 8 y.o twins, 14 y.o. son was OK with it and that rifle is the perfect one to start with since it's a soft rifle and recoil is quite small. I've showed them that their old man still has something to show off: beer bootle caps 5 times in a row from 15 meters, like a hitman

Hehe. My soft gun is a rifle with scope. One bullet a time. How u call it in English. Manually crank it and ready to fire. Slow but good range. Damn.

Dunno in Turkey but here police officers would probably sit on the car hood with me, we'll open a few beers and wait for the drone punks to show up :banana:

OK, it's easy for me to say, I admit I know approximately 2/3 police officers in my town and half of them are relatives of my wife, lol

 

One option is to ask police officers if that is legal and what they suggest you to do if you see that drone again spying you.
