To setup the automated fan control and see the gpus temperature. That is all actually. My new Card does come higher clocked already, so i am happy with that ;)

11.0.0.1144 has "Intel Technology Access" component where the later releases have not.

my gpu is factory over-clocked so i didn't push it higher. i use nvidia inspector only. i stop using msi afterburner & precisionx.

Been using the suggested driver since this thread started.

I can report no more exception errors in Project Cars and no more freezing in csgo, but, I've only been playing a couple hours a day. Got day off next 2 days so will be able to really test thoroughly.

Can you control fan speed with Inspector?

    Sweet, will try it out.

EDIT: It doesn't work very well, the fan speed doesn't increase past 58% for me, even if the temp is higher than what I've set set as my target. MSI fan curve seems to work much better.

Ah right, well I knew it was one of those two, but forgot to make a print screen to compare at end of installer. And yes this part fixes my perf. issue, not driver only part.. atm at 11.0.0.1160 and its still ok as long as I have this extra installed lol

EDIT: but I have one more offtopic question for you, since I know you know a lot about windows internal stuff and process, etc..
Could you help me out with this? Or if you know why it doesn't work properly..

You're missing the point, in win10 it cripples perf. if there is not whole package involved, at least by cryenigne3 games and I'm sure its not the only game engine atm.

In win8.1 yes it didnt matter what IMEI was installed or just the driver part..

I'm personally sticking with 12.9.4 Rst, its the only driver before they broke some HDD power states with certain HDD, e.g. Samsung spinpoint F3..

    Of course.
Inspector uses one static fan duty cycle when set to manual, while MSIA allows you to to setup a temperature controlled scheme where a duty cycle can be set to increase for every time temperature raises.
If you use a single static duty cycle you need to set it according to max temperature peak at full load over a period of time, but that means you will have the fan running at that cycle even when it really doesn't need to, and on top decrease the life span of it's bearings.

Version 5.3.8 caused me all sorts of issues. I then used Version 5.3.6 again and it solved my problems. But for now I don't use the Precision Software anymore after my System Format.

Others also reported Problems with the latest Version, probably due to the newly added Server Function.

    Hope this helps :)

Ok, so no one should use IRST? Just IMEI and normal chipset driver?

If your talking about what he says at the 2.20 mark you better watch it again because he never mentions anything about a virus there

Overall system performance with 1144 is better than 57. ive tested both along with the rst software Fernando used.

It does get a higher score in anvil overwriting the 1144 with 57 but its abit unpredictable with scoring. 5000 -5100 unpredictable.

No harm with 1144 and 14.5.0.1081.

I'll admit i'm trying to figure out how he gets those high scores in anvil. Ive done every optimization possible for my ssds
