very poor drivers compared to 347.25 / 347.88 (Kepler), a lot of stuttering, GPU usage drops, even crashes that never happened with previous drivers, I believe 347.88 are the last drivers Nvidia considered for Kepler cards, sad but they want to sell their new stuff.

I haven't experienced any performance issues with these, and i came from a 680>770. (Yes 2 GPU upgrades in a very short time lol)

SOmehow my 970 stays in low 3d at desktop all of a sudden. She used to clock down to 300MHZ but somehow now she sits at over 1100MHZ. I have nothing open that needs power. I dont know what to do, i installed a game yesterday but this cant be the cause.
Used to have it before and a fresh driver installation fixed it but there must be another solution.

in afterburner press the little "i" (information) button and see what active 3D processes you have running.

    Same problem as i had.

I dont know if this is a driver problem.

It can also be a grounding problem.

Same here. Nearly every driver. Only a restart fixes it.

I think that the problem with the high clocks is do to that the pc isnt grounded.

Because of the problem with my logitech z523 a current was going through my pc, after i fixed the problem the clocks where back to normal.

The same thing happens if your pc isnt grounded a current will flow through your pc case.

Every PC in the UK should technically be grounded. As our electrical plugs have 3 pins, the third pin being for ground (as far as I know).

Although with electrical currents you never know really.

My psu cable also has a grounding pin but not like your from uk.

but all my wall plugs in my house dont have grounding.

So i have made my own grounding cable connected to the heating tube.

Not sure this is correct any more, correct me if I'm wrong but. Corsair PSU are made by Seasonic now.

My TX850 V2 is the same internal design as the Seasonic M12II Bronze 850W.

Ok nvm Ryse Son of Rome low gpu usage issue..

For some reason it was Intel ME driver fault, thanks to one fellow guru3d user recommending v11.0.0.1144 whole suite fixed it.

Will try just the driver later again.. But yeah atm at 353.90 and no more gpu usage drops and great fps always above 65-70fps..
Before with just driver part v10.x.x.xxx or v11.0.0.160 it use to drop to 35-45fps now same spot 70-85fps with same gpu driver 353.90.

EDIT: I decided to remove that extra IMEI bloatware
    Intel Technology Access
    Intel Security Assist

and now I got those fps drops again, at first I thought its nvidia driver forced FXAA fault, but even after removing it and restoring default ingame High with blurry postAA its still happening.. Will reinstall whole IMEI suite again.

    Edit2
Yep reinstalling whole imei 11.0.0.144 package fixed fps drops again.

When is Nvidia going to fix the hitching in every game?

They nailed in 347.25, what went wrong?

    seriously???:bang:

IMEI has nothing to do with games. but for some reason it effects them..

IMEI is even pointless on home machines, unless your remotely accessing your machine. goes back to Vpro days. which nobody even used then.

    dont know if its true

"IMEI is one component of Intel's VPRO remote access technology. I'm a bit surprised that it's unexpectedly showing up in what I presume is a consumer computer; it's an extra-cost item (last time I talked to our account team we were told that they paid Intel $25 for each system shipped with the feature).

    Read more: http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/55149-intel-management-engine-interface-needed.html"

dont understand why it effects fps

    edit:

also having multiple threads and people copying and pasting there replies in other threads is confusing....

I really dislike comments like this, I mean ok,you have a problem but simply writing that DotA 2 crashes for you without giving any more info (for example with previous drivers was working) or not even try to check if you have other issues with your hardware or if you oc'ed or not..I hope you get my point, nothing to be offended for.

Other drivers were working 100% stable, my hardware is 100% stable and my overclock is 100% stable. Problems started after updating to 355.82 (did clean install with DDU).. :)
