So true, more and more people don't want to be tied to a desk which is very understandable.

I work from home as a programmer, so its only a matter of time before I get a bigger screen. Honestly would have bought one by now if not for a few unexpected expenses.

 

Google uses other sources as well, so you might be included anyway.

 

I'm on the NO SPYWARE crowd.

Opera never made a big enough dent in the browser "market" for anyone to actually care about it. It peaked at under 2% market share..... Chrome gained more market share in it's first day available than Chrome has in the last 20 years.....

 

I use my iPad Mini 3 when I drop the kids off at the pool.

 

Opera is now built on Chrome, so I wonder if it shows as Chrome.

EDIT: Im personally fine @ 1080p and win10, ok expect few small quirks with the OS.
1080p downsampling is all I need, wont upgrade my monitor for a while though :nerd: Not until 120Hz IPS or MVA gets more spread and even then I will stick with max 1440p and DownSample on that again.

As someone who dislikes Microsoft and only uses Windows for gaming purposes, I don't think the "spyware" thing is even an issue. First of all, you can turn it off. Second, no offense, but MS doesn't care about you. They don't care about any of us. Even if the NSA is paying them for their info, you're not of interest to them either (unless you're a terrorist, a human trafficker, or a drug lord, in which case, feel free to be paranoid).

At the very least, you should clone your disk, upgrade to Windows 10, and collect your new serial key. Then revert back to your clone.

 

If you're so worried about being spied on then stop using computers, smartphones, tablets, etc.... because everyone is "spying" on you. Even your power company.

 

How about 5760x1080 users?

For the record, you can turn off nearly all of the potential spyware from M$oft when installing Windows 10. My main concern was not having them sending "customized" ads at me and so far it's been great. There's no reason to not grab that free upgrade imo.

Already been proven by people intercepting traffic being sent to MS before turning them off, and after - makes no difference

i don't care i use Linux on the main computer clean, smooth, secure, and the Windows's ones are to play and GF's crap thing (then many many AD and spam about heel, shoes, skirts, etc...)... i guess M$ is the smallest spy on them lol.

I doubt these statistics. My own statistics based on totally nothing: Win10 - 1%, Win8 - 10%, Win7 - 56%, WinXp - 4%, others - 33%.
