I am gonna run 3dmark today for the sake of it so I can give you my score on 290x. @ 390x speeds. Iirc it was close to 390x last time I tested.

Thx in advance. Once i am home, i'll run the benchmark with the demo once again and get the advanced version and see if it makes a difference. I'll also run it with cpu clocked higher and see if the cpu has to do with my graphics score.

Thanks a lot for the replies and feedback.

Just bought the sapphire nitro 390. the first thing that supprised me is its size. this is my first big card. Had to relocate my hdd and remove the hard drive cage or bay.

Ran the the benchmark as requested 3 times. But only 3dmark firestrike and got an average of 11900 to 12000 on the graphic score. Highest 12088. factory setting. I not thinking of overclocking this gpu because i play at 1080p on old acer S231HL.Overall i am happy with this card.

Edit: With 15.7.1 driver Win 10. Wither 3,bf 4 , modded skyrim with enb run smooth. :). Thanks again guru3d community.

i live in a tropical climates so it is pretty hot here.

Interesting, I get ~12000 graphics score with a 290 pcs+ and factory overclock.

Edit: Although, I knew the 290 pcs+ has the best performance in the 290 line (also, it is the loudest one), but I didn't know it's this good.

Yes, the CPU does have an impact on the graphics score. Futuremark has done their best to minimize the impact as much as possible, but there will always be some impact.

I get between 12000 and 12100 on the factory clock. With 15.7 i peaked at 12130 on the graphics score.

Congrats and welcome to the high end gamer class :p

With your clocks i get about 12040 on the graphics score too. I just don't get how some can get over 12400 (some guy on reddit got a score of 12420 on stock clocks on the nitro) on the graphics score on stock clocks. If you would however just run a benchmark while clocked at 1150/1550 just for the sake of it, that would be nice of you.

Well i guess that could be the reason why all these review sites are hitting 14000 on the graphics score with their i7 8 core extreme cpus.
