It should work with the basic drivers that ship with win10. At least well enough to hold you over until creative does its thing.

I upgraded my Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 Pro today and half way through the upgrade process remembered that there were no Creative drivers for the X-Fi Titanium HD for Windows 10.... and when the install finished I was amazed that everything seems to be working just fine.

Sound works, Creative Audio Control Panel works, optical output works, etc.

In device manager it says my sound card is using Creative's driver from 1/20/2014 version 6.0.300.2015

Under the "Events" tab in the properties menu it says:

Very nice, you got the full package. My sbz is showing as a basic high def audio device but at least I got sound. x-fi seems better off until creative drivers appear

I am using Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatality Pro with DanielK drivers for win 10, works fine. Official driver release date is October, Creative is so lazy.

The X-Fi Go pro usb that I use for my laptop works perfectly fine for me in windows 10, no issues with the software suite or any thing.

Upgraded to Win10 (from 7) and although it says "Creative SB X-Fi Speakers" under the sound options, I have no sound.

What's more: everytime I try to re-install the drivers (old or new) or a patch, Win10 says the hardware that goes with the software I try to install is not present on my computer. In other words and although Windows 10 indicates that the sound goes through my soundcard (X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty) that same OS doesn't "see" the card when trying to install/upgrade the software...

Beats me. Anyway, since I use my computer to game, listen to music and watch movies, I did away with Win10 and went back to 7...

Last week and the week before were also August 2015... :)

Anyway, am gonna stick to Win7 for a while longer. Not too keen on what I saw in Win10 so far. Still too much inclination towards touch-screen users and now the XboX crowd as well, it seems...

Same for me. I will upgrade shortly to get the free upgrade (been using W10 on secondary partition) and will reinstall clean Windows 7 since I planned to do it anyway...

Creative have the Titanium HD drivers for Windows 10 listed as August 2015 so hopefully that means they will be out within a week. I am using the Windows 8/8.1 drivers from February 2014 at the moment and they work OK for the most part but I have noticed some crackling issues when using Entertainment mode which does not happen in Game mode. Also, I have to put my PC into Sleep mode and wake after applying any changes to the Creative Audio Launcher otherwise they don't stick (it is actually how I got the sound working in Windows 10 in the first place).

Creative really do make crap drivers IMO and they rarely update them...unfortunately.

This might sound weird but try leaving the Creative Audio Launcher open after setting everything how you want it and with volume set to 100% then put your PC into Sleep mode and wake it.

That is what fixed the lack of sound for me in both Windows 8 and 10.

I finally tossed my X-Fi Fatal1ty and it's driver adventures aside and slapped in a SoundBlaster Z ($30 off Craigslist).

I had two X-Fi sound cards over the past 9 years and the driver issues were the same with both. If this SB-Z wasn't so cheap, I was ready to move on from Creative cards to anything else and soon. Here's hoping I get proper driver support for at least a year. :nerd:

as long as a new os dont come out, drivers will be fine.

but then again. there another windows build being released later in the year and we might run into driver issues again.

I havent had issues with my system.

but I rebuilt an amd system and that system has a XFI extreme gamer card and the windows 10 drivers wouldnt load the creative control panel. gave error saying no supported card.

had to go to older drivers to get it to work.

No ctrl panel w/ new official drivers

    Win10 + sb titanium pci-e user here.

    XFTI_PCDRV_2_40_0011.exe installed today

Sound is ok (even after reboots), but unable to run creative audio control panel: no supported audio hardware detected...

I tried Daniel K drivers a week ago, control panel worked fine but no sound after reboot, I had to reinstall the drivers after each reboots -_-!
