So basically I want to force triple buffering for Skyrim and D3DOverrider does that. I had it installed when I had Windows 7 and it worked fine. Today I try to open it and it just doesn't open. It is a process in the task manager, but it isn't in the tray and I can't use it. After 3 reinstalls, I get the pop up "Cannot load D3DOverriderHooks.dll library". After googling it, I can't find one mention of this at all, so I have no idea how to fix it. I assume windows 10 has caused it, but even with the compatibility mode, it still wont work. Any help?
i have the exact same problem, d3doverrider worked on my win 8.1 x64, now after a clean install of win10 home x64, when i open d3doverrider, it shows up in taskmanager but don't open any window.
It's part of the old Rivatuner 2.24c. Once installed it can be found in the /tools folder. http://downloads.guru3d.com/downloadget.php?id=163&file=4&evp=b0d1360d4d6f6dc2017ceaf2b4e67ad7
oooww man!! you saved my life. now it works well, i just need to mention that i had to boot with the signature enforcement to install it on win 10. and now it works like a charm, thanks bro!! edit: it opened once, but won't open again!! :wanker: edit2: i found something, if you open d3doverrider it will be open on task manager but not open on windows10, but if you let the process opened in task manager, it will show up itself after some minutes!! weird but works!!
Hot fix!! after spending some days trying to understand what prevent D3DOverrider from opening, i finally found a way to open it in all versions of windows even windows 10 and this is how: first open D3Doverrider.exe (it won't open), open task manager>details tab, then right click on d3doverrider.exe and follow the screens to stop speechruntime.exe or any other process from running. D3Doverrider menu will open at the moment you stop speechruntime from running. enjoy!!
d3d override work for me but when try open assasin black flag the game stuck in black screen nothing work
