I get some judder/stutter when opening and closing the Start Menu, along with 24hz-esque sluggishness on the live tiles when I have my TV hooked up as an extended display. The sluggishness only happens on my main display hooked up through DVI-D, TV is hooked up through HDMI and is always smooth. Using 353.30

I have also had my GPU get stuck at 540mhz after a Witcher 3 crash that came after playing the game for nearly 9 hours.

To the user with the DEVICE_HUNG error, try upping or lowering voltage/core clock just a tad. Had this error a lot with a fairly recent Ghost Recon game, had to OC by 7Mhz to get it stable.

On my test machine, a old box with latest Win 10 on it I note
the new 353.54 Win 10 drivers installed via Windows UPdate actually provide a lower score on 3dmark Firestrike than the test run I did a couple weeks ago using the 353.30

Granted, a lot of variables as that was a older version Win 10.

ANyway.. results with latest windows 10 and latest drivers

    Firestrike tests below:

    6031 score WIth new drivers
6303 score was old score on 7/10 with old 353.30 drivers
( i tried to post links but due to forum rules I can't. Oh well.)_

Hardware is same only difference is drivers updated from prior 353.30 Win 10 Drivers
and of course Win 10 build is newer than the old test on 7/10.

ANcient 8500 Intel CPU w 4GB and I stuffed my 'old' GTX970 in this box as my
main gaming box has a shiny new GTX980TI MSI gaming G1 in it..

Don't comment on **** CPU with that card as it is just the spare old machine I had
laying around to stuff Win 10 on earlier this month.

Just wanted to note the slower performance, by that one benchmark anyway.

I had to re-install 353.30 drivers to get the Nvidia control panel back but
when I did that windows 10 still loaded up the new driver 353.54. NOt sure how that
    magic happened.

No other issues noted by me, but I only have one old IPS LG monitor running here on this machine. No jaggies or nasty stuff on it when playing games, etc.

You can download these directly from the Windows Update Website but it requires you to use certain older versions of Internet Explorer and since I'm always on the latest windows when I need to use it and I'm on an advanced future copy of IE it never recognizes it and so I never fully learned to navigate it but I used it a couple times a year or 2 ago. Regardless here are the links to the cabs for 353.54(Should be speedy DL):

Oh yeah this was discussed a little bit the one I looked at a year or 2 ago was https://catalog.update.microsoft.com/ but I still cant get this to work on Win 10 so I dont know what Extraordinary is talking about.

ALSO YOUR BENCHMARK DOESNT MATTER IF THERE IS NO FRAME OF REFERENCE WE DONT NEED SHOWOFF BENCHMARKS YOUR ABSOLUTELY SHETSTAIN WORTHLESS!!!!

    Hmm I can't create my custom res with these. (1920x1440 & 1440x1080 for Cs:Go)
Tell me it doesn't support my display =[ back to 353.30.

Just had my first Windows 10 crash tonight. I did a check for updates and noticed that the v353.54 NVIDIA driver was downloading and because I had a lot of Windows 10 apps (Xbox, Facebook, etc) plus iTunes (playing music), File Explorer and Chrome open, I decided to close them because I had a feeling the system would restart. However, before I got chance to, the driver started installing, presumably because the screen went black and the music because an annoying drone!

Gee, thanks, Microsoft for causing my first Windows 10 crash since I installed it last Saturday. It had been 100% stable with no real issues bar minor bugs then a forced graphics driver update goes and brings the system to a halt. If that isn't a good advert for why these kind of updates should NOT be mandatory then I don't know what is! :bang:

Fortunately, the graphics drivers seem to have installed OK (after a second restart as post-crash the NVIDIA control panel and system tray icon were missing) and I likely would have installed them at some point anyway. That said, I would have installed them with nothing else running and then rebooted. I am pretty sure my PC would not have crashed if I had been given the chance to install them manually!!!

Annoying to see the DirectX bug is still there when enabling MFAA globally in the NVIDIA profile: DXDiag shows 11.3 and 3DMark's API Overhead feature test will not work. Disable MFAA and DXDiag shows 12 and I can run the API Overhead test.

I hope NVIDIA fix this in time for release because I like to have MFAA enabled globally and I am sure that DXDiag and 3DMark will not be the only DX12 programs affected by this peculiar bug.

For me 3Dmark test working(API test). OpenCL test went thru. Normal result.
Haven't tested more. Just too tired in this hot weather to do it.
