Yeah, and I've tried them on both, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 (build 10162), and working like a charm :)

Hi, i had recently downloaded the DDU. When i open the DDU application, a message pop out telling me to reboot my comp to safe mode. After i clicked 'yes' my comp restarted but they are no display on my screen at all. I tried hard restart my comp, there is a 'beep' sound but again, the screen is all back. My monitor is on stand-by mode after the reboot. Any help please? I am using Win 8.1 Pro 64-bit. Thanks

Try another connector. This is abnormal. DDU shouldn't affect the power on display.

i haven't tested if the stuck on boot is still there or not,

because it takes too much time,

so for now i'm using a restart into safe mode using DDU -> clean but do not restart -> restart manually.

and 15.7 DXVA is weird, its causing high CPU usage for interrupt while playing any vids.

and reverting back to 15.15 fixed this issue, so its definitely 15.7, i wonder if AMD didn't realise that their DXVA is still broken for some of us.

so i reverted back to 15.15,

so i used DDU like 3 times during that driver change.

To me it looks like you have a problem with your Windows installation other than AMD display drivers.

yup, you are right to you, and please do me a favor and don't reply to whatever my post is about.

i don't like people blindly blaming someone else OS to be broken,

when in fact, i lost count of everytime i proved that it isn't my windows installation.

infact, i've proven about 3 more exact accusations like you to be false, in the past weeks.

if you want details about it, sorry right now i don't have time to wrote an essay.

let me put this the easy way, i have a clean installation for many other OS, ready to be put to test, to prove things like that.

i have win 8.1 pro (even though i don't like win 8), and also win 7 x64 pro.

my primary OS is win 7 x64 ultimate.

i have that 2 OS installed on spare 60GB 2.5" HDD, Because 60GB is too small to be used as storing backup.

so do me a favor, STFU.

i may come as arrogant, but that is because i have enough dealing with peoples like you all over the internet.

so forgive me that i don't give an ass about what you think.

Your snideness aside...THIS IS NOT A DDU ISSUE, your should be in the 15.7 discussion thread

If you do not like peoples suggestions then I strongly suggest not asking on the internet, and when you do, ask in the correct place. Rudeness is still rudeness.

    i never ask anyone anything,
just mentioning what issue i'm having is count as asking ?

besides if you read my post, it wasn't about having an issue with DDU,
i was just telling wagnard, that i used DDU 3x, with the method that i mentioned as the safest method for me,

safest = doesn't stuck on boot.
because me and wagnard doesn't know yet whats causing the stuck on boot,
and sometimes it got nasty, where the only way pass it is by doing system restore.

and i also did post on 15.7, and as usual it was just mentioning the issue i'm having,

read carefully whether or not i'm asking for help,
before saying that i am asking for help.

remember mentioning =/= asking for help.

    Edit : added some bold.

DM789 -> How about a little less tone and a bit more respect for each other okay ?

@Hilbert : yup, sorry about that hilbert, i was too heated up when i reply earlier.

    its been too stressful lately,

@everyone : sorry i that i act like a jerk, i will try to not write any reply before i calmed myself down.

its just like i said lately i met too many peoples that suggesting my OS installation is at fault, while they themself don't know a thing, so i was already at pissed off mode when i wrote that down.

depressed + stressed + pissed off is not a good combination. :bang: :bang: :bang:

    @Wagnard : sorry i ruined your thread

No worries. We all have bad days.
And for your issue, it is possible it may not happen anymore as I did a small change in 15.3.0.3 that may help who knows.

Man, if you see all the posts of this thread, when people having problems with DDU or things even not having relations with DDU , you can notice wagnards total dedication to resolve problems...so if wagnard reputate that your problem is not a DDU issue I think you may to belive in a OS issue (like something corrupted) causing your problem...so try the new version of DDU like wagnard said and see what happens and if still having the same problems get up that it's probably time to make a new fresh installation of your OS.

It's possible its not his OS. It could simply be an application like Antivirus or anything else that interfere with DDU.
I saw this in the past with a sandboxing system security application that completely screwed what DDU was trying to do.
Anyway guys, leave DM789 alone about this. He is a good guy. We all have bad days.

No problem my friend :) I wasn't directly pointing this to you even if I quote you btw.
It was more a general statement.

    Edit: Removed the quote :)

Just wanted to inform that I've just used the latest DDU version to uninstall Catalyst 15.7 in Windows 10 build 10240 and install the new ones :)

    Cheers!
